Had this installed at the time of a HVAC replacement, so can’t comment on ease of installation, however have loved the ease of programming and use of the WiFi connectivity. I choose this model for the ability to use remote sensors, and the one in my living room ensures that the system is “reading” the area most used. The thermostat itself is in a room that tends to be the hottest, so it was never easy to make the rest of the rooms comfortable. Will not be using the “learning” features right now, and don’t know if the eco features will be of much use, but still very pleased with the thermostat. One thing I wish I had known was that the backer plate is white. I wish I had also chosen the white thermostat, I think it would have blended in better, but the stainless still looks fine. I was not able to get the remote sensor at Best Buy, had to secure it elsewhere.

It works great and the convenience of having it on my phone and computer is really outstanding. I can now set it from anywhere and come home to a warm or cool house.

Great easy to install and use. If you forget to lower or raise.you can do it from anywhere using internet. Clear installation instructions for non techie person

Keeps your nest cozy and warm in chic fashion. Set to go on if I walk by and it’s cold in the room. Love this! Simplicity on the outside, complexity within.

The install was super easy and it looks great. I’m still learning how to work it and the “learning” schedule. It doesn’t help when the weather in Texas goes from 20 degrees to 60 degrees in one day. We’ll see if it actually saves any money on my electric bill.

My electric bills during the summer are very high. Purchasing the Nest Thermostat is my first step to becoming more energy efficient. My wife swears our AC never turns off. With this thermostat I can visibly see when it's running or not. I can also see what temp the house currently is as the Nest works to bring it down to my desired temp. I've only had it powered on for 24 hours but I can already feel the impact it's making in our energy efficiency. I like that it also tells me how humid the house is inside. Waiting a few days to view the history of the thermostat but it will tell the story. Only took 30 minutes to install. Easily my best purchase so far of 2016.

I want to preface this review with I absolutely love my Nest, but it absolutely does have some flaws that prevent me from giving it a perfect score. First, for the positives - it does a great job of controlling my home AC - it reliably figures out when I am away, it learned my weekend and temperature habits fairly quickly, and the quick-look when you walk by in front of it works fantastically. It has a great "Heat & Cool" setting for days that start out warm but get cold in the evening, or vice versa, or you can leave it on heat or cool individually. Unfortunately it has some quirks - While it reliably figures out when I am away, it has a tougher time figuring out when I am home. I have spent hours out for a day and come home, and it stayed on it's "Away" function even after an hour of being in the house. Granted, both the app and the device get regular updates, and lately this quirk has happened less often, it was worth mentioning. I absolutely love the product despite this and would recommend it to anyone looking to add a well connected and easy-to-setup smart thermostat to their home.

My husband and I are super happy with this Nest thermostat!! We haven't gotten our energy bill yet since we've installed it so hopefully we see some savings!! Other than that it makes being a home owner stress free of adjusting thermostat. You can download the app on your phone and control the thermostat. It gets familiar with your schedule to know when someone is home and not and adjusts the temperature!! Plus, if I'm ever out of the house, I can always manually turn on or off from my app! The installation time says 30 minutes but it took a little longer but with the Nest support 24/7, it went fairly easy.

Really great. Accurate so far. Easy to program. Great app. Used it remotely and for me it worked great. Worth the money.

This is my 3rd one for my other house. Very easy to set up, love that you can get remote sensors and clean look.

Great in all the ways. I was really impatient to wait 'till Black Friday to get it but I did it to get a good deal. However it works great and very easy to install by yourself.

It’s been a few weeks since I installed 2 Next Thermostats in our home. It’s taken me that long just to understand what this powerful gadget can do. Not only do you have smartphone access to be able to cool my home but it can link to Google assistant or Alexa for instant requests. So far, Nest is awesome and true to actual temp. It’s motion activated so every time you pass by it lets you know what it’s doing. As far as ease of use, I need some time to say whether it’s easy or not. It’s packed with features. I look forward to finding out even more about this awesome product.

Great design, easy to install. comes with it's own screwdriver and wire labeling tabs. App sets up easy and links to phone and computer, had my routine set within the week. Really great device.

Very easy and quick to install for a complete novice. Easy to setup and connect, and after a month of use i'm pretty happy with how the Nest is auto scheduling based on my heating/cooling needs

Installed this in our second home. Easy installation and setup. Little programming needed and works as expected. Love checking on it and the power usage it tracks.

Great little thermostat and very easy to setup. I love the heat and cool feature, we use it during the fall months when it’s cool in the morning but still heats up significantly throughout the day. We set it to heat at 67 and cool at 73. Keeps the house within a comfortable range. I also love being able to adjust it from my phone. I often forget to change setting before leaving for a weekend or vacation. I can return the setting to normal on our way home so the house it back to perfect time upon arrival.
