Amazing! When I first saw this and saw what it does, I knew it was meant to be. This device supposedly memorizes the temperature settings over the course of a few days and it automatically adjust to those settings whether you like it or not. For instance, if you like it really cool at night, but your sister is house sitting for you who doesn't like it to be too cool, it'll automatically make it cool even if your sister adjusted it to her liking.

It's very handy. Thec1st time I handled 1 was when a friend's grandparents ask me for assistance when their system wasn't coming on. Be sure not to program it for multiple times to come on and off in the day.

Our old thermostat had such a cumbersome programming mode that we didn't even use it. Easily install the Nest yourself and download the app. I found a great youtube video on unboxing, mounting and getting started and followed step by step. I did the programming right from my phone. If our schedules change and coming home early we can adjust the temp to be where we want it when we get home. Love how it sees you coming and gives the current display! Wish I'd have got this YEARS ago!! You'll love it!

Awesome thermostat. Does a great job. Unfortunately for the first month I had it, my a/c unit was acting up and freezing up. Initially I thought it was from the thermostat. But it wasn't. It just ironically started after installing the thermostat. I love the auto away feature. One pointer though, don't set your away temperature too high. Because when you come back it can take a while to cool down. Especially if you live somewhere like Oklahoma in the summer. Whew.

I purchased the Nest Thermostat recently when my old thermostat failed. I am by no means a technical or a hands on person, but my wife and I figured the installation out in 45 minutes. It took a little bit of getting used to, but after three weeks it is working great!

This is not your Father's Thermostat. It is well thought out and put together. Learning as it goes it will make your life easier. Turning on the display when you approach it another nice touch.

I have heard from so many people about how great the Nest is and I decided to finally try it for myself. I have not been disappointed at all. Within 1 day, the Nest knew my entire preference of temperature along with my schedule. I don't ever have to worry about adjusting my thermostat anymore. I also love the ECO feature that will automatically turn on when it senses I am not anywhere close to my home. That right there saves me money! Very easy to install. I have no knowledge of electricians and I was able to do this under an hour.

This is so easy to install, even a caveman could do it :). Full installation took about 20 minutes; the greatest issue was removing the existing thermostat - I don't know who put that on the wall but one screw was stuck in the wall by Hercules himself, once I removed it, it was smooth sailing. Everything is color coded, so it was super easy. Turn the dial to set-up and that's that. If you already have the Nest app add the device before installation, if not you can add it after you download the app. Also, Alexia knows everything, just ask if you need any help.

Time to set the temperature and let this device adjust the temperature all day for you. It can turn itself off or very low while your away at work then turn itself on an hour before you return. My favorite part if when I left the house and had forgot to turn the air conditioner off g F’sor the day and my son reminded me I can go to the app and turn it off many miles away from the house. Awesome I love it!!

Now days every tech has to be smart to be good... Which not likely but I can say this smart thermostat gives the best out of it... what I like the most is the control from the phone since you can monitor temp at home or can schedule or even a few mins before getting home set temperature and avoid that wait time when arriving and turning on or setting a lower/higher temp to get the desired climate... Definitively an excellent piece of tech and does not needs a dedicatedy power supply... Wifi compatible and smart.. One more thing it gives monthly reports to you email which is great!!!
