My electric bill was close to 400 a month and my air would run all day. I love this because it cuts run time of when the air is on. You can set times of when the thing will change temperature and even when ur not home. There are days it won’t come on at all. Love that I can see how long it’s been on to adjust where need be if I have to. Since then my bill has been 130 a month. Huge savings

Been thinking about changing out our existing thermostat to a smart device. Went with the Google Nest Smart Wifi Thermostat and was glad we did. The instructions and installation was simple. There was one small hiccup, however there are many resources online to help, which was my case. The set up and interface is easy to understand.

Love that you can now monitor your temperature for your home from anywhere. It has a great look and easy to use.

Outstanding temperature control. Easy to program.

I compared this with it's closest functional peers. In the end, I chose this based on it's functionality and compatibility with other home technology products. Installation and set up were a snap with well written instructions. It's only been two weeks since install so I don't yet have an electric bill to make before and after comparison of energy savings. I'll update once I have more history. I highly recommended this thermostat!

I bought this primarily for the "learning" function to keep a more consistent heat with my radiant floors. It helps some with the ups and downs in temperature, but nowhere near as much as I had hoped. Though it is aesthetically pleasing and it's nice to use remotely via smart phone, if you goal is tight control over your radiant floors, I'd look at the less expensive competition. It also drives me crazy that Nest refuses to allow the display to show the ACTUAL temperature in the room in large numbers. You only see the temperature that it's set to unless you walk right up to it and look at the fine print.

Great product and super easy to use, easy to install

The Nest gives me the control I want and need for the cooling and heating of my home. Not only is it much more user friendly than your typical thermostats but having the option to control the temperature while I'm away is such a nice option to have. Now that I've owned it a couple months now I find I am adjusting the temperature way less. This is due to how the Nest learning my habits and automatically adjusting to them. It does exactly what the company advertises folks.

The install of this device was beyond easy. Wonderful product and a tasty rebate from my power company as well!

Purchased a ecobee 4, returned it. I then purchased a Nest 3rd generation. The Nest is a true Learning smart thermostat. The first week or so it learned how I set my home. By the end of the first week I never needed to schedule or set a temp. It automatically scheduled times for me. So it is a smart Thermostat vs the ecobee which is a programmable thermostat with Alexa. Nest also can be controlled with Alexa. All in all. You will be happy with the nest.

The product is the most convenient purchase I’ve made this year. It’s extremely easy and hassle free, to install. The smart features are pretty dope. And again, being able to control your thermostat from your phone is just so convenient.

Installed over a month ago and everything seems to be working fine. We love the ability to control it from our phones and the learning feature was spot on. Only complaint was wiring the thermostat was a pain for my particular unit.

One of the best investments I have every made. Can control the temp of my Condo from my phone, to make sure my dogs are very comfortable when I am away.

My thermostat was sticking so thought I would buy one of these to replace it. I love the looks and the wifi hook-up. I found the 'learning' function annoying as it kept changing the temp against what I wanted. It really can't read my mind. The learning thing has no easy turn off so I googled it and followed someone's youtube video that showed how to turn off the learning feature. (basically clear everything out and start over w/o any history and it stays off). It is pricey if you don't use the learning feature but I think it is way cooler looking than my Honeywell rectangle. I bought another one for my other floor. Would recommend.
