The first gen I replaced worked fine. I bought the 3rd gen to use some extra sensors and get better control on the bed rooms. Works great easy to install only thing could have made it better is if it used the same base plate.

Great product. Rebates & discounts are available from both best buy (military discount) and utility companies (approximately $100). It works seemlessly with available app and is extremely easy to install.

Upgrade from the previous Nest. Very easy to install! Love that I am able to control with my phone. The staff was wonderful in providing me with information on a $100 rebate.

Easy to install, program and use. Works great with Google Home for me. Nest thermostat has improved since the first version, Was considering this or the Ecobee and happy with the Nest.

My Nest learning thermostat learned my temperature needs within 3 days. It’s so easy to change the temperature, if needed. I love having the app on my phone so I can adjust the thermostat from anywhere.

It was easy to install and setup. Seems to work well. Not too sure exactly how it works and how much it is going to save. Will wait for the winter to see how it controls the temp when it is cold. Probably would have purchased it without a $75 from DTE.

The Nest is a fantastic thermostat. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and is incredible user-friendly from both installation to daily use. You can also sync your Alexa up to it if you want to change the thermostat temperature. Great product!

Easy to install on wall. Easy to setup. Easy to link online. So far so good with everything. I have two in my home. One for the AC/Heat and other for zoned heat. Love the ease of adjusting the thermostat. Both on the nest itself and the phone app.

I'm very happy with this Nest thermostat. I originally went to buy a Honey well but the sales people thought this one is more user friendly when it comes to programming the App. I figured I'd give it a try and return it if I didn't like it. My husband and I are not great with tech but together we got it up and running, any complaints thus far are due to user error as I'm still learning about the programming. One thing I wish was better is setting up the fan only. I currently have it running for 3 hours in the morning and there is only 1 fan setting, I wish it could be set on/off as desired as I would run it late at night before bed and perhaps during night when it's really hot. There is an option to run it as many hours as you want but not multiple options.

I purchased two of these when my local electric company was offering a rebate. Great product, love that It automatically adjust the temps when I'm away. Also like the fact that I can adjust the heat or air at night from my room. No problems with connectivity.

This is the second nest 3 for our home. We started with one on the downstairs. It worked great. We added this second one a few months later after I added an office upstairs. Easy to set up and it saves energy.

I like the ability to remotely turn on your thermostat. Programming is much easier than standard thermostats.

Using the website's guided installation makes the process go smoothly. There are visuals for wire selection, connection, and setup. Once powered, programming is very easy through the app, and the dial control method is easy to understand and use!

The Nest is my second WiFi enabled thermostat. The first one was a step up from the basic type but operating it was very frustrating. Setup was a headache and not at all intuitive. Every time the internet went down it would take me at least an hour to get it reconnected. The last time I decided this is crazy. I checked out the Nest and found it on sale, that coupled with a rebate from my local utility made the purchase reasonable. Installation and setup was a breeze. Lots of you tube videos to guide you if needed. Additionally Nest has a remote sensor that is available for a decent price that you can place in another location in your house like your bedroom that will operate air conditioning or furnace to that location. Oh and since installing the internet connection was dropped, reconnecting only took a moment.

I had them when they first came out. As soon as I moved into my new home, I knew I had to get them again. Loving the third generation. They work great. So easy to install. Usually takes longer to repair the wall from removing the prior thermostats.

It works and it works well. It is so easy to change time settings, heating and cooling, and controls well with the app. I'd easily recommend this and make sure to look into rebates from your power company.

Let’s be honest, do you really need it? Absolutely not! But, I have to say it does look pretty amazing. It looks like it should be in a Jetsons cartoon. The only thing that bothers me is the price tag and I feel that it’s more about the aesthetics. Very easy to setup and program. I’d definitely recommend this product pretty highly.

This is an amazing product, period! We installed two, and they work great. I do think there is a small learning curve, but after a couple of weeks it is second nature. Being able to see what is going on at the house when away, ...is simply fantastic. Good Job NEST!
