Love the look function and features of our new copper Nest Learning Thermostat. Goes to eco mode when we aren't home but has the house cool when we come back, Love to see how it works in Winter. Very happy with the product so far.

If you have not used or seen a smart thermostat, they are something you didn't know you needed but once you have it you wouldn't go back. The simple interface and connected Nest makes monitoring and adjusting the thermostat simple and easy wherever you are! It can tell when you left the house to change the temperature to save energy when you aren't home and even start heating or cooling the house in anticipation of your return home. Before you purchase a Nest, you need to verify if you can install one for your system. Not every system will work. There are a lot of features and functionality but it is definitely on the high end of the automated and wifi connected thermostats.

Added two of these to the house and love the ease of adjustment. And the fact that they learn your habits after a few days of adjusting makes it that much better. Now I'm looking forward to seeing if there is a savings on my heating cost.

I love how simple it is to set up and I can connect it to my phone so it learns my schedule with out me having to set a schedule. With it connected to my phone it also knows when I'm home even tho my thermostat is in a location I never walk past.

Installation was not too hard. The thermostat seems to be cycling properly and looks to be saving us some money when we are not home. Liking the energy usage feature. Seems to be a good purchase.

Best is easy to install and so far works great. I can monitor our energy usage and make adjustments to be more economical. The auto-away feature doesn't work great for us because our thermostat is located in a hallway, but that's easy enough to disable.

So far this product has lived up to its name! I really like that I can control it with either my phone or my Alexa. It was easy to install and pretty much walked you through the setup! Also check with you gas/electric company for rebates.

Looks great and is easy to use. Set it up in the matter of minutes. One of the easiest smart home adds.

Installed this on my AC/Heating unit...was very easy to follow the instructions. I had no problems making it work.

Do not be intimidated to install this on your own it's not hard. The instructions it comes with and YouTube online shows you how to install. Take a picture of the way the wires were installed on your old thermostat prior to uninstalling. In doing so this will ensure that your connections are connected correctly. It takes the Nest a couple of days to remember what temperatures you like when you are home and at what times you are home. After a couple of days Nest will ask you if you want it to automatically go into "Away Mode" when it senses you are not home. Keep in mind the Nest system has a 1 degree band and learns your particular home. Sometimes it may seem like the Nest Thermostat's maintenance band is larger than 1ºF, but it’s most likely that your system takes a few minutes to start heating or cooling after your Nest Thermostat tells it to.

Once I figured out that the Nest needs a 24 V supply from the furnace, and got it installed, it has been great. I like the feature that enables me to control the run time via my smart phone. And ability to track how much time it ran each day is nice. Is it saving me money, probably not as much as I'd like, but it does seem to have a tighter temperature control band than my old programmable thermostat.

Works great and an easy install. Don't know if we'll save money but excited to find out.

Installation was easy and it was working right away. It's great setting the temperature remotely and having the house temperature the way we want it as we walk through the door. So far it has been work the money.

The Nest thermostat was a very simple install. The instructions made it simple and clear on how to handle the installation. Syncing the system up to my home network was simple as well. It is nice to be able to control the thermostat from the Nest App. I knocked off a star for the price. Yes, the system is clean and functions very well, but in the end it was still a bit hard to make an easy purchase out of it.

This thermostat is amazing, it does not only learns your routine and habits but helps you to save on your electric bills. You can control it with your mobile through their app and it will give you peace of mind for when you are out of the city.

We had this device in our old home and this was the first product we installed in our new house. It's a must. So easy to use, sleek and helps regulate throughout the entire house.

I wanted to be able to control from anywhere and this one does the trick. Easy to install and easy to set up. In fact my wife and I can both control the temperature from anywhere that our phones have service.

Quite happy with this thermostat, good internet connectivity. The Google home app links my 2 thermostats, Nest Doorbell and Nest at vacation home. Install was easy with App assistance.

Had Nest since inception. Sold gen 1 to neighbor when gen 2 came out because of humidifier control. Gen 2 been working great until I had to disconnect and rerun wires from hvac to stat for a basement finish. I guess somewhere down the line I shorted out the heater diode and was forced to make an emergency run to Best Buy for a new stat. I really like the looks of the 3rd gen black. Bigger face with larger numbers is perfect for an old man. Controls are almost identical and setup was super easy. It took the info from the old stat and installed it into the new one. I didn't really have to do anything. I always recommend all the nest products to anyone who asks.

Nipsco did a study in the Chicagoland area which you can read online and show these can save money. I am hoping to do the same myself. Simple installation and seems to work relieably well. We shall see when the utility bills start rolling in.
