    I needed to replace a Gen 2 Nest that was killed by a lightning strike. The new Gen 4 nest and sensor were pretty easy to install and setup. I am happy with these units and am considering upgrades to the other Gen 2 units I have.

    Let's be honest, it's a thermostat! A very high quality one so I give it high marks for that. It's not the cheapest or easiest to use(to turn off the system at the device you have to navigate into the settings and find off), so it doesn't get a perfect score. The convenience of the app immediately allows you to be more comfortable and the extra sensor adds to that. You can use it as the primary and let the temperature follow you around the house! Lastly it won't magically make your old furnace more efficient. It will give you more control which should save you some money without trying.

      1. Open the Google Home app.
      2. Tap Favourites or Devices and then select your thermostat.
      3. Tap Temperature mode.
      4. Select Off.

    Very sleek look on the wall. Easy to install and app use seems very easy to understand. Much easier than other smart thermostats we have tried.

    Fantastic product, my wife and I thermostat failed in the middle of the winter and needed one. We went and fortit from Best buy and got a electrician to install it quick and easy started kicking in instantly. Really doe learn what you like

    I live in an older home and there is always a huge temperature difference between my first and second floor. With this smart thermostat, I’m able to automatically adjust temperatures based on the times that I will be in either floor. This has relieved major annoyances I used to deal with on a daily basis. 100% recommend!

    So let me start by saying I’ve been a long time nest user, this was used to replace an old unit that just got tired and worn out. We were ready to buy and saw that this new device was freshly released. It is very convenient that it comes with a remote temperature sensor for that one room that always seems to be a little hotter or colder than the main area. The display is nice to look at as well, there are a couple screen animations to choose from, one being weather that will show if it’s raining, or storming hard outside, so that’s pretty fancy. Overall it functions as you’d expect a fancy thermostat to do so. Overall a well done product.

    It is convenient to use and the sensor really helps as you can place in any room of the house. When you have two floors and it’s great for inconvenient mobility person.

    Been using the previous generation Nest thermostat for more than 6 years, install and setup was a breeze the only small challenge was having to use the Nest with the Google Home App. Other than that al is great.

    I upgraded to Nest from my Sensi thermostats. Nest is so much easier to manage. I have an upstairs and downstairs. I was able to setup separate heating and cooling schedules. Easy to setup and easy to adjust. I also like having the extra temperature sensor. This lets me monitor the temp from two locations. I may add a few so I can see and adjust based on the temps in each bedroom. Also, setup was easy. The first one took me about 30 minutes because I was being careful and maticulous. The second one took me about 12 minutes. That includes mounting the backplate, front plate, and wiring.

    Super easy to install, and it seems very energy efficient. No more HVAC running for hours straight burning money. Definitely worth it!! And the look 10/10.
