    Upgraded from the gen2..looks like a big pearl drop..one or two more features..i recycled the old with BB And with some points was able to get it at a price i can afford no complaints heat comes on gets off at the times i set it

    I absolutely love this thermostat. The setup took a little time, however once my brother and I figured it out, the rest was cake. The features to control my AC is so cool and user friendly, I highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase this product.

    The thermostat looks very nice, easy to install and use. I don't recommend it because I had already heard that they get damaged very quickly and for the price it is very delicate and gets damaged very quickly. I've only had it for 3 months and it's already damaged.

    Overall Good! Much better than our old one to help regulate the house temp but still someone difficult with a two story house and only one thermostat controlling the HVAC instead of two zones. Being able to use an app is a real game changer though.

    Huge improvement over the prior nest! I really like the ability to use multiple sensors and the new app (google home) is so much better than the old nest app

    Its a amazing product but I should have read the instructions or make or model of my air unit . Because the nest and air unit of my home is not compatible . It burned the fuse about 2 time . I had to sleep in the heat about 3 days . So I put in my old unit it worked again .

    Excellent thermostat. Easy to setup. Only complaint is you cant easily change wifi settings without a factory reset.

      Hi there, MrStash. We’re so happy you’re enjoying your Nest Thermostat Gen 4. Regarding changing wi-fi, you shouldn’t have to factory reset the device to change the wi-fi — here’s how to avoid that:

      1. Open the Google Home app.
      2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
      3. Select your thermostat.
      4. Tap Settings > Device information > Wi-Fi.
      5. The app will walk you through changing the Wi-Fi network
