Really like the convenience of being able to control our thermostat while we are away from home. Recently went on a weekend trip and forgot to turn temp down before we left. Brought up the app on the smartphone and turned system down in matter of seconds.

I bought the Nest Thermostat to keep track of a second residence in the mountains. It has been great to be able to keep track of the temperatures at the cabin to ensure that the temperature has not dropped below freezing. It has also allowed me to adjust the temperature to the right setting just prior to arriving. I can t wait to see the cost savings.

I switched from an old old thermostat It works perfectly with alexa, I can lower or raise the temp or ask what's the temp in the house? Additionally you can use the nest app to see what temp your home is away from home, perfect product!.

While the price is less than the NEST, the performance is almost the same. Installing it was easy! It actually worked fine for a while without the C wire until the AC was working for long periods. Then, the thermostat began showing "Low battery" Message. Attaching C wire was very easy in my installation. The only down side about it (so far) is the random restarting that it exhibits. For no reason, it just restarts.. Temperature measurements seem often off. Drops from 73 to 69F while cooling in no time and randomly. I wish I invested more and got the classic Nest Thermostat. I have it running for years now with almost no issues. If you don't like to spend much on a smart thermostat, get the Nest E. Right stuff for less!

I installed this myself, it was pretty straightforward and easy to install. I could instantly tell a difference in our heating. The app is nice and you can control the temperature through the phone, or with the Google Home Mini.”

Works great and looks great on the wall. Wish the original installer of previous thermostat would have mounted it in closer holes then we wouldn't have had to use the mounting plate. Would look awesome without the mounting plate, or maybe just a little smaller of a plate. Functions great and is holding temps in the house much better than the previous one. Haven't used the app a lot but from what I have it is really nice.

My thermostat was the white one that is supposed to blend into the wall. Prior to opening the package, you have to dismantle your current thermostat and follow website instructions to see if it will work. Other than that it's quite simple. Plus, right now you get extra savings with energy company, so it's the best time to buy!!

I love these thermostats, I currently have 2 of them and they're really easy to install, use, and they look great!

If you can get by without the features on the standard Nest and the wiring will work, this one is great for places where the thermostat isn't out in the open as it uses it's home/away feature based on your phones' location.

I purchased this for my sister, who is not very "tech friendly". It was easily installed (just be sure to note the existing wiring - as the instructions explain), and easy to set-up. Her hallway is narrower, so it was nice that this coloring almost makes it just blend in. She really appreciated its feature when she was bed-ridden for awhile, and she could change the temperature from her phone. Now, she also tries to get the "leafs" each month, and it helps her save money in her electric bill.

Simple to install, after checking the Nest site first for compatability. Had it for 3 months so far, everything works as intended. Love being lazy and controlling the AC from my phone, tablet or Google Home :)

I bought this one and the higher-end 'learning' model. Returned that one and kept this one. It works better, doesn't include the complicated 'learning' part that sometimes messed up my home's temps. This one is simple to set, I can talk to Alexa and change temps, set it so when I'm away it adjusts temps, then when I'm 15 minutes from coming home turns everything on. LOVE it. Little pricey still though.

This thermostat was easy to install, but ultimately wasn't compatable with my unit. Despite the website saying it was compatable, my unit would not cool while connected to this thermostat. I'm giving it 4 stars because, the site was wrong. I would've loved to have been able to keep this thermostat.

One of the coolest products I've ever purchased. Being able to control our heating and cooling from afar is great, no wasted enegry. Saving us money already and linked to google home for voice control.

This started my process for having a smart home and it works as advertised. Only has a couple of minor features missing form the regular Nest Thermostat but they aren't missed and it was a lot cheaper!

Purchased this at a discount compared to the full version of the Nest and am very happy with purchase. Blends into light wall colors easily. Seems to have every function of the full nest, and screen resolution is just fine compared to the more expensive version. I did have one start having connection issues 14 mos after purchase though AMEX extended warranty service issued refund to purchase another.

Super excited this came out. What's going for the regular Nest Thermostat and then heard about this one. It looks great against white walls and the user interface is so intuitive and easy to digest.

Easy to install and set up. The thermostat works with both heating and cooling systems and all the menus are clear and easy to navigate through. The phone app is useful and user-friendly, but the thermostat is also compatible with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Homekit apps and devices. For the base model, it's just fine for normal temperature control and scheduling in order to save money on heating. I cannot imagine using a standard thermostat ever again.

Love this Nest Thermostat, it was super easy to install and is even easier to use. Love being able to control it from my phone when we are not home. Highly recomend.
