Easy to set up and I like the fact that it's integrated into Google. Gives me all the feeds I need and a coupled it with the Google nest hub. Perfect match

My only concern is you have to charge this unit by removing it and connecting to a usb. Haven’t had it long enough to tell if that is going to be a bother.

If you have to reconnect to a new wifi it is kind of a hassle but it’s do able. The process was very tedious but I got it. I wish I could record more history without having to pay or upgrade through.

It would have rated it five stars but I need to take it down and recharge it every three weeks. This is **not wireline.** I do enjoy it and if they improve the battery life on the upgraded verson, I'll consider purchasing another one and put this one inside the house. Geofencing for high traffice area is a battery saver!

You can extend the battery life of your doorbell by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. That way, you don’t have to charge the battery more often than you should. You may also consider connecting your doorbell to a power outlet with the optional power adapter for continuous power and to keep the battery charged.

But if not, truthfully other options out there that do let you save recordings for a longer period with add-on accessories whereas this camera, you’d need the subscription. I don’t need another one in my life but very handy for a security camera and doorbell.

A Google account provides you with the security features not available with simply having a Nest account. You also get the benefits of integrating your Nest devices with Google´s advanced ecosystem using the Google Assistant. Alternatively, the Nest Aware subscription provides you with a lot of value for your money. If you want to go back and view recorded video, you can view snapshots of events up to 3 hours in the past. To view videos saved in the cloud, you need the Nest Aware subscription. There's no fee to stream full resolution live video and receive basic notifications, as long as your camera is connected to the internet. However, you’ll need a Nest Aware subscription to record video and receive advanced notifications. Nest Aware is a paid subscription service you can use with your Nest products to help keep you informed about important events at your home. Also, your Nest camera stores video securely to the Nest cloud so you can access it anytime, anywhere.

Very clear picture and battery last long time. Easy setup with google home. Only thing that could make it better if it came with a chime.

Unfortunately there was no existing doorbell at my house. Clear picture day and night.
