    I bought it for 3.5mm jack to connect my rode lav mic. Build quality is really poor. It’s feels like gopro used cheap plastic for this unlike what they use for their cameras

    This product is really great for outdoor shooting. It really makes GoPro a professional. I haven't bought a monitor screen yet, but I'll add it soon.

    love this addition makes more user friendly. It great for social media in this format. Video my daughter's wedding using the media mod worked great.

    Media Mod allowed us to connect GoPro to our sound system. Worked great! Just had some downloads to do to connect the mod to the camera.

    This little mic is guys quality. It is equipped with a mic plug USB c and micobplug on the back of it so the potential is endless

    This was a fantastic idea by GoPro but the actual results were disappointing. It's nice to have the 2 cold shoe mounts but the mic port is disappointing. The MIC has to be in all the way, all the time and even then you need to make sure the GoPro is reading the Media Mod's mic. They also made the housing so that you have to remove the media mod to access the battery, which is inconvenient when you have to reset the GoPro after a lockup.

    Just purchased this new product and it works great. I had to buy this because I really wanted the light for night riding, and you have to have this so the light will attach to GoPro. It works great for wind suppression while riding at high speeds. I also like the durability, quick charging, and HDMI exterior ports!

    Was kind of disappointed in GoPro that I had to purchase this cage for the light mod, however, it is well made and fits the system well. Guess they go the best of me since I also bought the front facing screen which also works with this mod.
