This camera has the best picture quality,sound. In the Paintball market it's just the best overall camera you could use. The weight, size is just perfect. Stability of the shots even when one is in motion is just insane... 100%% thumbs up

The remote is perfect if you take selfies. I however do not take selfie pictures, I take selfie videos and use the free GoPro Studio to later make pictures from the video. Because of that, the remote is not really necessary since I end up tossing the video parts I don't need. To me, it is not a must have, yet it deserves the 4 star rating I gave it because it works exactly as it should but charging is a bit clunky. If you are choosing between the remote and other needed GoPro adapters, I would buy the adapters first and leave the remote for later.

Sometimes the set up was challenging. All this technology doesn't always connect right at the start. A bit time consuming. Instructions simple but no trouble shooting options. Once I got it all set up. I'm good to go. For you computer pros, I'm sure you will be fine. My photos and video are priceless! I recommemd extra battery if planning lots of video use.

First off I never would have thought to buy one of these because of the ability to use your cell phone for the same function. However I got this in a package deal and i love using it so much more than the Go Pro Phone App. I found the phone to disconnect from my go pro pretty often. This thing never disconnects and is just simple to use. Also has a great quick connect/disconnect keychain which I really like.

This remote is nice to have but it has misfired occasionally which may be due to me not using it all the time and not actually using it right; however, it is a nice device to have if you are taking selfies. Since the GoPro field of view is so wide, use a GoPole Bobber or Grenade with the remote and you won't need a selfie stick.

Having the wi-fi remote is very convenient but I feel like the battery runs out too quickly. For me, it is still a must have. It would be perfect for me if there were a quick "one button push" way to connect it to the camera so I could easily turn it off and on to preserve battery life.

These remotes are a must have if you use the cameras on a mount away from your body (I have mine mounted on my boat) as they are much more efficient on the camera battery then the phone app. Battery life on the remote is not great, but if you charge the remote when you charge your camera batteries it isn't usually a problem.

This item is great once you get it connected to your GoPro. The major drawback for me was the battery life issue, once connected to the camera's wifi the remote would seem to drain quickly whether I was recording or not. I paired it with the Hero4 Silver

It does what it says but I'm hesitant to get it wet. Everyone I know that has got it wet said it failed shortly thereafter. I prefer using the app and my phone. Gives you a preview of what you're shooting as well.

This was a birthday present for my boyfriend. A request. Tons of fun and you can even be sneaky (in a good way)

I have used this remote to turn on and off my GoPro Hero 4 silver with ease. I would recommend this remote for anyone that has their camera fixed to the exterior of there vehicle or in a hard to reach location. I use this accessory every race day!

This GoPro camera WiFi Remote works well, is fun to use and it makes it easer to take video. My son uses it for many different types of activities. It allows him to not keep looking at the camera to turn it on and off or start and stop recording.

This remote control completes the Go Pro experience. Traveling this summer had been fun and convenient because of this product. Just make sure you charge them and put them in a good pouch or case.

I bought a GoPro Silver 4 Bundle that came with a Wi-Fi Remote. Operating a GoPro with a Remote sure makes life easier. It allows me to capture video and pictures when my GoPro is out of reach. I can't imagine operating a GoPro without it.

This gadget is a nice addition to the GoPro camera. Solidly built, easy to operate with only 2 buttons. I bought a monopod which came with a holding case for this remote which is perfect.

The reason I did not give the remote a 5 was due to the instructions not being clear. I had to call GoPro and they were very helpful explaining what was left out of the instructions.

My wife and I both have these on our bikes,they work great with our Go Pro Hero 4 silvers. We have our cameras mounted out of arms reach and these allow us to operate our cameras to take photos or video. Awesome

The remote does exactly what it says it will do. We don't use it often since we can use our smartphones but it is nice to have if our phone batteries are low.

It's a great addition to a gopro. Im not sure what the difference is with this remote and the other one that has another button on it. Nonetheless, it works great, and I like that it is waterproof.

I was able record time lapse pictures and videos in my gopro without touching it. It's kind of stylish. I like it although I'm not using it regularly.
