Remote is very small and fun to use with the GoPro.

A handy, little device to activate the GoPro's recording when the camera is mounted in an inconvenience location, like on top of your head. Controls are a bit difficult to see due to the small display but parameters can be set on the camera before a recording session and just use the wifi remote to turn the recording on and off. Built-in rechargeable battery is a mixed blessing. Unlike the camera, the battery cannot be swapped out with a fresh one. That would be a plus especially when you're in the field.

It's priced somewhat fairly, I would think about $15-$20 cheaper would be ideal. The controls are easy to use and the distance is great. I bought this to pair with my GoPro Hero 3 White. I use it primarily for hunting and setup my cameras in remote areas to catch as much view as possible. The distance is more than adequate. My only complaint is when switching between my iPhone and the remote, I sometimes have to power cycle and then reconnect. This has happened 3x during the 3 weeks I've used it. It can create a problem when in the field and trying to stay hidden. Other than that, it's a great buy.

I enjoy the convenience of using the remote when I can. I often have a tough time pairing with GoPro which does not make it worth the convenience sometimes.

Works great once you program it right. SynchronizIng could have been easier. Drains your battery faster.

As with the camera the instructions need improving. Also after purchasing the remote I found you can do many of the same things the remote does from your tablet or phone, except I would't want try and drive or swim with my phone or tablet.

I purchased the GoPro Hero 3 without the remote, then purchased the remote separately (saved me about $20). The remote came in handy when we weren't able to use our phones. Definitely worth the money and a must for your GoPro...

My go pro doesn't sync with the remote anymore. So I gave up and only use the app

Not a mandatory accessory, but its an easy alternative for the phone

It lost connection when on water infra red option will help

it's great not having to reach up and find the Rec button on the cam while I'm hitting the slopes... I just hit the remote instead. totally gnarly

All the imformation you could ask for at a glance. Battery level, camera mode, ect. Device allows changes to GOPRO with out having to remove it from its' mounting. Simple on/off button. Best value for an accessory. Get one: it can operate more than one GOPRO at a time.

I use this remote for activating my GoPro camera. With this you don't have to worry about turning the camera on or off. Fits right in your pocket or on a key chain. Really great for use at bird feeder or at the bottom of my fishpond.

I am a videographer and being able to set up the scenario and click allows better and quicker photo shoots. It also reduces running back and forth. I love it. I wouldn't be without it. Every camera mans friend.

Handy product to have, especially if you need to pay attention to what you are doing. Just a one-button touch to get the camera going. A lot easier than pushing the button on the case of the camera.

Didn't know I can control gopro with my iPhone. Atleast with this remote is OEM and I won't be using all the juice on my iPhone to control the camera.

This has been a great add-on to my GoPro camera system. It is truly a must have. It is also so versatile. What a great little device.
