The unit makes a lot of noise, not only when it is making the ice but all of the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

So far, a very good product. The first one I ordered came and looked like it was in a demolition derby. I had to reorder, big hassle.

Door doesn't lineup with the screw holes

Got the icemaker. Easy to setup, and install and run. However, the door handle did not line up with the screws in the door!! Also, it drops ice in big chunks, and does not break the ice in individual cubes. Cheap manufacturing
