I was initially hesitant, but after doing my research, I took the plunge, and I have zero regrets. Picture Quality (5/5): The Mini-LED backlight with Full Array Local Dimming is a game-changer. The contrast is incredible, with inky blacks and bright, vibrant highlights. HDR content truly shines, revealing details I never knew existed in my favorite movies and shows. Colors are rich and accurate, making everything look incredibly lifelike. Whether I'm watching a dark and moody thriller or a bright and colorful animated film, the U8 handles it with exceptional clarity and depth. Brightness (5/5): This TV gets bright. This is an excellent television with superb brightness levels. It has fantastic contrast with deep blacks, and bright whites. It's also fantastic for gaming as it offers up to 144ghz refresh rate. The Sound is much better than I anticipate from televisions these days. The Google OS is also excellent for those that already have Google accounts because it seamlessly integrates it all as soon as you login. Very pleased with the system as a whole. Best Buy also had my online order ready for pick up as soon they opened.

I bought the Hisense 55inch H8N for my living room and it’s really a great TV has lots of nice features. The remote lights up, Dolby Vision/Atmos, HDR10, built 2.1.2 soundbar, great color accuracy, nice details and highlights, and more. This TV meets and exceeds all my needs. I play games on Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch game has really nice game overlays and VRR features. The apps are stored on the internal memory of the TV a nice feature as well. I recommend buying this product or any Hisense U series for that matter.

I really like the picture it shows. Its more expensive than any tv I purchased in the past. But for the price you pay right now its an extremely good quality tv. Just be sure that your ps5 is set to 4k resolution. That was the mistake I made when I first started using. The audio settings portion was a little tricky to find. I had to play around for a little bit to get my sound bar connected.

This TV is gorgeous. I have no complain about this tv, the picture quality, the brightness, the dark levels, even the colors are stunning. This TV do come close to oled.

Love how the images are super crisp with accurate contrast. I usually switch off the Motion enhancement when I’m not watching sports content to avoid the Soap Opera effect. Setting the TV picture quality to Filmmakers mode whenever possible shows super accurate colors akin to how the movie makers intended it to be. TV auto switches to Dolby’s Intelligent IQ picture quality based on the platform/content I watch. Love that it supports both Dolby vision and audio!

Bro I got an open box and it's brand new, no scratches no problems. The associate and I took the TV out to make sure it was in good condition and had all the parts. I saved $200 and this TV is amazing, nice and bright, the picture quality is amazing, the sound has great bass, treble and mids. Now I want to update all my tvs.

I love my new 55” tv. Having low vision, i can sit in my chair and see the screen. The color is bold and vivid with great sound. Being totally wifi i love not having sny extra charges. I caa as n waych tv, movies or listen to my fav music on Pandora.

I was skeptic about getting the tv but 4 months later im sure i made the right choice Ps5 gamer happy with it the sound subwoofer its amazing

Excellent TV. I did a lot of research and waited for it to go on sale. Super dark blacks and no noticeable blooming. Reviews likened it to much higher end tvs. I believe best tv on the market for the sale price of $800. Still calibrating and tweaking it, but very happy with purchase.

I received the 55" U8N as a Christmas gift. After nearly three weeks of ownership, I'm extremely pleased. If you use an antenna to receive your air tv, then the addition of nextgen tv via the 3.0 tuner makes an incredible difference when watching sports. Also the gameplay on my PS5 really pops. Throw in a more than adequate sound system, and you've got a killer set at a great price. I love it!

I really like this tv. It offers great value for the price and supports everything some of the highest end tvs offer. The 2 year warranty makes me feel better about taking a chance with a new brand.

TV has a good picture most of the time. Trouble is when scenes are dark or have a heavy black background the picture is terrible. Have contacted Hisense support but haven’t heard back. Want to return for refund
