Well designed TV at a great price

When the Hisense 75UG6 arrived it was packaged very well with screen protection at forefront of it’s design. Lifting the TV is definitely a two-person job. The rear housing is made of a sturdy metal with a nice finish. Picture quality is great especially with 4K video. There are plenty of input ports for many various types of input. The “Home Screen” is well designed and works smoothly. Easy access buttons to favorite apps are on the remote as well for quick access. Sound quality is full and impressive.

Great picture quality and experience. The android OS slows down the TV quite a bit after a year if you install new streaming apps. Gets disconnected from Wifi once in a while but otherwise no issues.

This television is the king of value if image quality is your chief concern this TV is an excellent choice. If there are other factors that determine what type of television you get then you may need to shell out more money if only for something like an NVIDIA shield. For significantly less I find it to be 80% of the way there in terms of image quality to a top of the line Q LED Samsung provided you pair it with a streaming box that's able to compensate for its shortcomings. Unfortunately it doesn't have some luxuries such as HDMI 2.1 or a refresh rate of 120 frames per second however those two things are primarily going to be of interest to gamers. I am a person who likes motion interpolation but if you are not you are going to want to find that in the settings and turn it off much like my sister does when she uses the television. If you're on a budget and you want the nicest TV you can get this is an excellent candidate as of when I purchased it.

The Hisense U6G is a great TV for most uses. It's a great TV for watching sports or TV shows in a bright room because it gets bright enough to fight glare, but it's not good for wide seating arrangements as it has narrow viewing angles, meaning the image looks washed out from the sides. It's a great choice for watching movies in a dark room because it displays deep blacks, but small highlights don't pop in HDR. It's also an impressive gaming TV, with low input lag and a great response time for smooth motion handling. However, it doesn't support HDMI 2.1 bandwidth or variable refresh rate technology, which is disappointing if you have an Xbox Series X or PS5.

I cant really say enough about this TV, ive already been impressed by the Hisense tv's i put in all the kids room so when they finally offered something 75" with Quantum Dot for $1000.. how could you not right? The only thing that had me nervous is the 60hz refresh rate but when you do your homework you realize most things if not all things on cable or streaming come through @ 60hz. For sports the tv has fast motion 240hz and the picture is stunning. It replaced my 65" LG Nanocell tv i just bout 2 yrs ago for $1400 and blows it out of the water.. Android TV so it integrates with everything i own, cant speak to its gaming graphics but for streaming, netflix 4k, cable and etc.. cant go wrong.

HiSense might be a "budget brand" but wow, it's amazing.
Upgraded from a 55" TCL and this thing rocks.
Takes up the whole wall (mounted) above our fireplace (where the TCL is actually sitting, see pic).
So bright!
You'll likely want to mess with the backlight settings as there is bleed in the corners, but I didn't have any trouble finding settings that minimized the issue.
I didn't even mention it to my wife as she wouldn't notice anyway so keep that in mind.
As noted, it's so wonderfully bright and vibrant it won't cost you anything to turn the backlight settings down.
Also great for gaming, though only reaches 60hz. Even running a cable from the PC to play certain games on it.
4 HDMI ports!
I did replace the remote with a SofaBaton U1 though so can't really speak to it.

Great tv for the price, wasn't expecting OLED level quality which it isn't but still great for what it is, and what it costs. Love the android software and selection of apps which to me is second to Roku software, but that's really just personal preference. TV has solid contrast from its VA panel, the viewing angles are slightly worse than an IPS panel but not as significant as most point them out to be. Compared to my OLED its definitely a drop off. Plenty of ports to connect various devices and tv is relatively smooth in operation, plenty of customization and settings to adjust to get the picture/color more accurate. Would recommend especially if on sale.

Great Value! Read several reviews on various models before deciding on this one. Was looking for a 75" VIZIO Quantum P or PX Series, but it was never in stock. Found a review that compared Hisense to Vizio and discovered that they had some of the same components (and was why VIZIO could not keep up with the demand for their units). The U6G went on sale and was significantly less than the U7G and U800GR. I decided to go with it, and it's been great. Vivid colors, good contrast and brightness is off the chart. It doesn't have as many dimming zones, but for the money, it was the perfect upgrade for our 55" Vizio (non-4K). We have a large living room, and the 55" was little small. A 65" might have sufficed, but I had plenty of room for the 75", and don't regret the purchase.

Processer is a little slow. Takes longer than i would like to process functions ( turn on time and switching apps). Especially when comparing to my samsung unit Also the tv makes a sound when it turns off it has a noticable click which is annoying and sound cheap. Samsung unit makes no noise on power on/ power off Other grip is back side of tv housing is not flat it has a buldge at bottom of back this required to trim my wall brackets so i can get correct height. Besides that it was the cheapest full q dot on the market so no other complaint. At half the cost pf similar samsng unit i will still recommend.

Anyone looking for a television at this price is going to be blown away at how good the image quality it. The set feels well made enough, and is very light. Aside from some blooming, which is to be expected from a 75" with only 32 dimming zones, the image quality on this set is fantastic. We got this for my parents, to replace a 70" Vizio 1080p set that they liked a lot. Their minds were completely blown! They would probably expect this PQ from a set 4 times as much, but they are in heaven. Smart featured are smooth and fast, and the Android TV has every app we searched for. This is an amazing value.

I'm hesitant to post a review so quickly, because almost all new items are "great" at first. More meaningful reviews come after at least a few months.
That said, I am pleased so far with my selection of the U6G. Wasn't easy to find one...I guess the Covid Supply Chain issues caused these 2021 sets to be relatively scarce. But after doing my homework (I highly recommend accessing rtings.com for comparative reviews before you make a TV purchase), I decided that this was the best set that met my size and budget parameters.
The TV coms with these little legs (like almost all TV's do anymore, so the table I had used to support my 2010 DLP was not big enough. Therefore, I had to chose between buying a new table, wall mounting or the solution I selected, which was to buy a mounting bracket that could fit on the table I had.
So, I've had it for a week now, and I've got to say it's met my needs so far. I'm an iPhone guy, so I'm still figuring the Android system out...but that aside, the remote is pretty straight-forward and intuitive, even for an older guy like me.
But the picture is the main thing, and it is excellent. Very bright and "pops" off the screen. Note that you have to (or, at least, I did) change the resolution from 1080 (which was the default) for 2160 for 4K effect. Jump on YouTube and search for Vegas 4K and then see how amazing this TV can be.
I can't wait for Football season with this dude.
Oh - one other word of caution. When I took the TV out and mounted it, I could not find the remote, nor the power cord. I was at the point of calling Best Buy to have this "problem" corrected when I took one last look and found that these items were in a small plastic pouch that had been taped to the inside of the box, near the bottom. So, when I had take the outside "shell" off, the remove and power cord went with it. Just be careful that you don't throw it away, as I almost did!
I'm hoping the TV has a nice, long life. But the early returns on the picture and sound are very good.

Love the Tv. It replaced and old one and the color is beautiful. The sound is great. Easy to set up and use. I've never tried this brand but thought why not. I'm glad I did. So far so good. Time will tell but I think it's great

WOW - all I can say is this TV is a stunner. We have had TCL's, Samsungs, LG's and this TV blows them all out of the water. Its fast, and responsive. The 4K ULED picture is amazing. I dont know all the in's and out's of the specs.. and what it all means.. so instead I am writing this review as a person who would be looking to purchase this TV and get a honest opinion about the TV itself without all the fancy number's and specs. The color is STUNNING, and the sound is amazing. We do have a sound bar that we used with our old TV, but with this one, we chose not to hook it up. NOT NEEDED! :) The fact that it has Google built in, and you can still integrate with Alexa is awesome. The apps that it offers are perfect. Peacock, Pandora, YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video.. etc - -lots more, but those are the basics. They startup FAST when you click on the button, barely any delay. The system Settings are slimmed down, so you dont have a billion choices when setting up the tv, but just enuf to get the picture and sound you want without all the extra hoopla that no one knows what it means. I would recommend this TV - ESP for the price... 75" TV, 4K ULED.. YEP... !

Lots of features packed in this thing for the price point. Full array local dimming is nice, but in extremely dark scenes it can produce a little bit of a halo effect. It doesn’t bother me personally, but your mileage may vary. I also had some issues with ARC and my Atmos sound bar compatibility in the beginning, but everything is running smoothly now. Overall it’s really hard to beat at this price point with the brightness levels, quantum dot, and Dolby Vision.

Watching UHD content is pretty incredible on this tv for the price. The processor lacks a bit for up scaling content, but most won’t notice that. For the money is pretty impossible to beat this unless you want to go up in price by a minimum of $800. I highly recommend it if you need a really big tv for a room in your house but don’t want to drop $2-3k

I bought this tv on a Black Friday deal and it was worth every penny. I also picked up an LG sound bar with wireless sub so I can't give an opinion on the built-in speaker quality. I upgraded from a high end (4 years ago) Samsung 55" 4k television and I can't say enough good things about the Hisense tv. The quality is fantastic, colors are vivid with a beautiful contrast between black and white, no ghosting with high action scenes and having Google built-in is convenient as we are a very Google-friendly household.

Very large TV with a pretty good picture, but even with local dimming white text on a black background blooms like crazy! It also has a bit more reflection than my old Vizio, but I plan on remounting it lower, so that's not a big issue either. So far Android TV is performing well, but it's not the latest TV OS from google, so that annoys me slightly.
