As far as personal assistants in the home are concerned, it is hard to beat the ones tied to Google. Google is my personal choice when it comes to information sourcing on the internet, so having this in the home is perfect for the quick information needs that come up. We do have a smart home so having this tied to various devices is perfect for our needs. We do utilize a NEST and Philips Hue lighting. One of these days, everything will work in perfect harmony!

Much faster than looking questions up on phone or computer. Love the home automation connectivity. I had an Echo dot before, I have removed her from my automation and have had no problems since switching to google.

I had high hopes for this assistant. However had a hard time to sync with my other devices. google claims its very easy to sync. Cannot connect to any bluetooth speaker. Even had a hard time connecting to my LG speakers (with cast built in)

I put my Mini in the kitchen, and it's been a great help. I also have the Google Home main unit, and it's really helped to have the Mini so I don't have to yell in hopes that the Home will hear me ask it a question or set a timer. Connecting it with the pre-existing Home was super easy. It gets great sound and is usually really fast. It's had some wifi connection issues since day 1, but I suspect this is because the kitchen is distant from my modem & there are walls to interrupt the signal. Lately there's been some data package issues with all Google Home devices that makes your wifi shut down, so my Homes are pretty useless right now until Google releases a fix.

Connected the whole I house One on each floor. It serves as a way to communicate throughout the house and change music playing by telling it to move to another google mini so that you don't have to carry a speaker

This thing is like having your own personal assistant. You can ask it just about anything and it knows how to Answer. It even has fun games and trivia that you can play with family and friends. It's kind of weird though if left on, it just kind of sits there listening to all your conversations while learning about you lol. So don't be surprised if you ask it something in the presence of someone else and you get busted for something you said in a private conversation... ijs

Awesome and compact. Great sound for its size. We use it on the patio and have had no issues with it being outside

It’s so inexpensive. Works great. Got one for each floor. Great little in room speaker too.

I have a lot of Alexa devices around my home, but for my work, I wanted something different. I especially wanted something i could verbally ask a question to and get a decent result, something that lacks on Alexa devices. Before this, I was having to open my phone or computer and go to google to retrieve the info I needed. This solved that issue for me. While many of the features are similar across the board, google home is uniquely different, and worth a shot!

I think that the Google mini is actually better than our Google Home. We purchased enough minis for throughout our hone and even to give as gifts. The price is reasonable and I like that they can make phone calls.

Love how small it is and how easy it is to use I would recommend it to others to use

I got my Mini free when I purchased my new Google Pixel 2 phone and my wife an d I have enjoyed the many hands free conveniences it offers. Now we have bought three more for Christmas presents for family members.

I have had a Google Home for over a year and love it. I just bought 4 Google Home mini's for Christmas presents after checking them out in store and noticing that they are the same product only a smaller speaker.

Sound quality is surprisingly good for the size. Good entry level device if you want to try smart home. Very easy to setup

I am a late adopter of this whole connected home / IOT stuff, but I have to say that this item is fun. Right now it is more of a novelty, but I do see how it will become more integrated in our lives as we use it.

It does exactly what it says it does. Setup was a snap and it was up in running in minutes of taking it out of the box. The only negative is that the speaker could be louder listing to music and the gesture controls on the top are not easily discoverable. I would have preferred physical controls.

We use this in our master bathroom and the sound carries great between the bedroom and bathroom. Easy to set up.

One of the must have electronic item for every household. I have connected my smart plug and vizio sound bar and it all works so great. Planning to buy more google home mini and connect across room in my house..

We are enjoying the Mini Google very much. It answers questions about things that would otherwise take much longer to look up. I came back to Best Buy and bought another one as a Secret Santa gift for my office.
