This portable AC cools our 550 sqft. living room from 84° down to 73° in about 2 hours. We had to use insulating curtains to block the cool air from going through the doorway leading to our kitchen. To get this AC to work in our living room with our sliding patio door, we had to buy a vertical sliding door portable AC hose adapter. What I like about this AC is it is exceptionally quiet, more so than our Fridgedaire Gallery cylindrical portable AC in our master bedroom! It isn't equipped with Wi-Fi so it lacks smart feature which we enjoy using with our Fridgedaire. It definitely came in handy during the fire season here in SoCal, where it reached 102° along the beaches! If you're thinking of getting one, don't hesitate until another heat wave strikes and all AC sold out. Get one today!

I love this unit. It's not super strong and doesn't blast out cold air like my last one did, but it is plenty strong for what I need. I have a 600 sq. ft. condo and this is in the living room and cools superbly. If you have a larger unit, you might want the next size up in BTUs. This one is 10,000 and is great for my place. Plus it is very quiet and very attractive. I am very pleased.

It does a well enough job to cool our bedroom (11'x14'). But I'm not sure how well it do in a living room setting.

It works but does not cool down the room as much as it should I set it to 70 but the room tem stays at 77 !

Was looking for an air conditioning unit that I could move from room to room and found this one for a fair price. When in use, the unit works perfect: cooling the area quickly, it is easy to use, and noise level is minimum I am very happy with my purchase

So after a lot of research and checking out the competition, I decided on the Honeywell and so far, it’s output is way better than expected. It’s cooling 500-600sqft with only 450sqft capability!! And it is not loud. Easy install. Easy controls. Remote controlled bonus. My delonghi AC is way louder than this one. So much so that we kept this one downstairs and moved the other upstairs for daytime cooling and nite sleeping with it off.

This air conditioner is easily portable, installation with the provided adapter is quick whether your window opens vertically or horizontally. It keeps a 400 sq. ft. room comfortable even when outdoor temps are in the 90 range. And it is attractively designed and colored.

This is my first portable air conditioner. It is easy to move on it's rollers, and I had no difficulty installing. The plastic was too small or too large for our window, but my husband was able to cut it to size. Until that happened, I just put a dishtowel on either side to plug up the remaining space. We first had in a large area ( kitchen, dining, great room), and it did cool somewhat, but not as well as it did in the bedroom, which was smaller and more confined.

Pros: Easy installation, well built, easy to use, it makes some noise but it's a big machine and it is not loud at all. Cons: Bestbuy advertised it as 450 sq. ft. but it was clearly not enough for my 450 sq. ft. space. It does not bring down temperature when it is 90 outside and 80 inside. It took me 2 hours for temp to reduce to 78 but by that time outside was cooler than inside. I would not need portable AC if it is less than 78-80 inside. I am returning it soon as I have only 15 days and may not able to test further.

This AC has a slightly louder fan/rattle noise than my previous Denali portable. It functions nearly the same as every one I've owned before - which is to say not as powerful as a window unit, but capable of cooling a single room. I have a work room that gets hotter than the rest of the house and this shaves a few degrees off the temp. I can typically get this room to be 76-79 with central air, then this unit will take it down to 71 from there. If you rely on the portable alone you would not be able to shut it off for any time period if it was over 80 outside, and you will have only a small room to feel comfortable in. If you don't mind the effort/installation/permanent nature of a window unit, you will find those perform better. However, this allowed me to be able to open my window and use a fan instead on nights that were cool outside. As with all portables, the hose and window bracket fit loosely together and I used packaging tape to secure the hose to the unit and bracket. I had to do this with everyone one I've ever owned, so it's not limited to this model.

I live in north central Texas and it gets hot!! My bedroom is a garage conversion and although there is insulation in winter the room is significantly cold and in the summer it gets really warm. I went 4 summers suffering in this hot bedroom trying to make it with a ceiling fan and I never even thought about buying a portable a/c. Thank god i came across the idea of buying one because it is a life saver! My room is pretty big and cools quickly! The size of the a/c is a bit larger than I thought but it doesn't matter because I can stay cool now. I personally don't think the sound is too loud, it's comparable to an air purifier in loudness. Buy this if you are done being hot!

I purchased with an eye toward reining in my summertime electric bill and not overtaxing my HVAC. So far, this has proved to be a smart purchase. It efficiently cools my bedroom, while allowing me to set the house thermostat at a moderate temperature that helps keep the electric bill in check. The only downside is that the unit is a little loud. While the fan setting whispers a slight breeze, the AC belches out cool air. Naturally, it oscillates between the two settings. You get used to the AC noise (it's not terrible), but you do have to get used to it.

Does a great job and with its updated design looks great too!!!

The product is very portable and I love the performance of the different settings, whether it's in my bedroom or the living room. The only gripes have been that I've had some trial and error with the dehumidifier drain ports, the rigidity of the exhaust hose, and the plastic pieces which are supposed to seal the open parts of the window.

I've had this unit running in a bedroom (14 x 12) for the past 2 months and it does a great job of keeping the room cool. It is pretty quiet so that's nice for sleeping. My only complaint is with the plastic piece and extension that you put in your window to hold the vent tubing in place. When the plastic piece was adjusted to fit my window, part of the hole for the vent tube was blocked, so I had to cut part of the plastic extender to make it shorter which was a pain.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this unit. Works very well cooling the main floor of my townhouse, even in the 90+ degree weather. Unit is quiet and is very easy to use.

I love this ac unit it’s very quiet and was so easy to install I have a large living room and it cools it to the max this is the unit I highly recommend it to everyone

It's a great little air conditioner that's got the ability to be moved to a different space easily. Remote control makes it absolutely wonderful. Set up was very easy.

This air unit looks like a robot and works really good. Have it in an upstairs room that gets really hot on 90 degree days .. This product works great and cools the area pretty good. So far so good! I was confused about having to install the hose to the window but makes sense now. Easy to install.. Had to make the Window kit smaller to fit perfect and it was pretty easy to do.

Got this for our bedroom, it does blow cold air however mainly only in one direction. Does not get the room as cold as I would like. It barely cracks the 75 mark on hot days. Now the real problem, the exhaust tube is paper thin and has torn at least 7 times. I have more duct tape on it than I care to mention. This needs to be remedied Honeywell.
