Great Lightweight Cordless Performance Blower

This is a lightweight blower that is powerful to clean yard/ porch. I was using the corded one and its always a pain to connect a 50 feet cable to clean and store.
Hoover’s ONEPWR line, includes a battery that can be interchangeable with all the ONEPWR line of products like Ryobi tools. If you own multiple products like cordless Wet/Dry vacuum, then you can interchange the battery and get more work done by changing the battery quick.
Product comes well packaged, and you must charge the battery to get started. Place the battery on to the included battery charger and charge it for 2 hours or more until all the lights on the top, stop flashing on the charger.
Handle is ergonomically designed to hold comfortably, and the light weight is easy to use. Operating button is positioned under the handle perfectly for ease of triggering. Sound on this is not that loud unlike gas or wired blower.
I used this to blow dry leaves and dust on my front porch, side porch and my back yard. I was able to clean all 3 yards in 10 minutes in great ease compared to the wired one. Battery life is around 13 minutes roughly and when the battery dies blower just shuts off and when the button is triggered it starts slowly to indicate it needs charging.
This blower looks stylish and is a great timesaver compared to bulkier wired or gas blower. This product is not suited to applications like wet debris that require the level of power you get from wired electric or gas blowers but is a great alternative for light to medium jobs like cleaning yard with dry leaves and dust.
Overall, it’s a good product and would recommend who is looking to clean yards in ease.

The Hoover ONEPWR cordless blower puts power in your hands to move leaves, light snow, and debris. It is lightweight, balanced for comfort and easy to use at max or minimum speed. It’s driven by a 4 Ah rechargeable battery provides about 14 mins to use the Hoover blower to cleanup your outside area. The ONEPWR battery is compatible with 9 devices in Hoover’s lineup, to add flexibility to your outdoor and indoor cleaning.
• The multi level power of the Hoover blower is controlled by a trigger on the handle. When you press down the trigger completely you get up to 95 mph/ 270 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of fast air blowing away. You can achieve a slower speed when pushed only half way down. The longer the max speed is used the more quickly the battery wears down. I say this to say that if you select to go half way down on the trigger you are using less battery and able to use the blower longer. The battery came charged but I think the cold zapped a little power from some of the battery. But I was still able to do enough with the blower to clean around the garage and front door. I was impressed.
• The battery life is about 14 minutes. If you use full power it will be less than 14 minutes as I had experienced blowing leaves and snow (read further about snow). To charge the battery back up to full it takes about 3.5 hrs. But you can always get another battery and that is where the real use of the Hoover blower works best. Having an extra battery would be ideal, doubling the length of use and continuous max power. If you could get another battery I would definitely pick one up.
• The overall weight with the Hoover blower is around 6.4 lbs. When you first pick the blower it feels a little heavy toward the front. When you put in the battery, in the slot in back, the Hoover blower feels much better in your hands, having better weight distribution across the blower. It is very comfortable to hold and use around your garage and house.
• On the end of the funnel there is a lip scoop to scrape off leaves and/or debris. I had some frozen leaf clusters that were slowly moving with the blower on, so I used the scraper to dislodge the leaves, and then the blower moved them out of the way.
• We have had some snow recently and I wanted to see if the Hoover blower was up to the task of clearing it. The snow was light, powdery and only about a ¼”. The Hoover blower had no trouble removing the snow off the sidewalk! The blower did a really did a nice job, but with heavy snow I don’t think would remove as easily. Heavy snow is usually packed down and somewhat wet. I tried to remove some footprints in the snow and the Hoover blower was not as effective. But it’s nice to know it does actually move the light and shallow snow.
• One of the great ideas that Hoover has had with the ONEPWR system is a line of 9 cleaning machines. All of the batteries are interchangeable with the cleaning devices. So you can use one battery on the cordless vacuum and when you are finished and plug it into the blower. You get the idea. The ONEPWR system sets Hoover apart from other cleaning units with the charger and batteries that are able to be put into other Hoover cleaning devices.
The Hoover ONEPWR cordless blower is a winner in my book! The blowing power - 95 mph (max or less with trigger), the lightweight feel, the no need for cords and the ability to use the battery among other Hoover cleaning machines really make the Hoover blower special. I enjoy the all year round uses for the Hoover blower and am looking forward to see how it will handle all the elements.

Great cordless blower

This Hoover cordless blower is great for small/ medium yards, driveways, sidewalks etc. It is lightweight, easy to assemble , the battery charges within 2 hours, the battery has a display with dots where you can see how much charge you have left . So far it does work good on my big yard that has lots of oak trees around, the cordless makes it easy to move around, unlike my corded blower and the dry leafs scraper on the bottom of the blower helps removed any old wet leafs stuck on the concrete of my driveway. The variable speed trigger helps preserve the battery when having a lot to clean in the yard. The only trouble I had was removing dirt from the entrance of my driveway , the blower didn’t have enough power to clean wet and dry sand from the area, it only removed the leafs, also the battery was dying within the hour work. It would’ve been nice for this product to include an extra battery and some type of hook to hang it in the garage after use. Other than this I’m happy with this cordless blower.

Cleaned up the leaves in my back yard and driveway with ease...
Battery took about 1 hour to charge. Set up was a snap.
Item is pretty lightweight and balanced. Power control is really good. Powerful enough to blow big leaves. Great buy.
Used for about 1 hour and battery is down to 1 tick left. Not bad for a high demand blower.
I would recommend this product.

Good Power & Light, Not a gas/elect replacement

Very pleased with how lightweight and powerful this blower is. However, I am disappointed it doesn't have an AC power option because I am only able to get 20 minutes of use out of each charge when pulling the trigger for full power...and charging takes over 3 hours.
That being said, this blower does NOT replace your gas or electric blower. It cannot handle wet or heavy leaves in the grass. Nor does it have the charge to "leaf blow" an entire yard. Nonetheless, it earns a spot in the garage for those lightduty, quick tasks where smelling like exhaust or dragging out the extension cords seems like a pain.
As mentioned in product literature, this tool has a battery capable of running other Hoover products. Not sure how the battery use compares in other ONEPWR cordless devices but 20 minutes of "practical use time" (14 minutes of runtime per the literature) should be enough to blow off the deck, blow out the garage, blow the grass clippings off the driveway and sidewalk, blast (dry) leaves out of the basement window wells or the corners of landscaping, and possibly even jump on the roof to blow out the gutters. (Disclosure, by the time I remember to try to use this to blast out my gutters, they were frozen for the winter. I am not sure how effective this blower will be with wet, compact gutter debris however this blower is lightweight enough to feel confident carrying it up a ladder.)
It was not very effective at blowing dry leaves across my lawn but again, due to the limited runtime (and 3.5 recharge time), I no longer hope to use this blower to handle leaves in the lawn. [This is where it would be nice to have optional "corded" functionality.] It also struggled to get packed leaves out of shrubbery for me, but to be fair, it had rained the night before I tried to use it to clear leaves from the landscaping. My new "leaf" goal for this blower is to be able to blow leaves out of corners, landscaping, fencing, etc. then mow over them.
The blower itself is well balanced and is not a strain on the arms or back. It is relatively quiet compared to a gas blower. At "full trigger" I could tell when the blower battery was reaching the end of its charge because the performance/motor sound dipped just a little a bit but performance remained fairly consistent until the battery was dead. No "slow dying"--it just stops. I think the literature calls this "fade-free" power. Of course, you can check the remaining battery charge by pressing a battery indicator light.
I recommend this product because it is just plain easy to use. Easy assembly, lightweight, and great for quick lightduty jobs. As long as you don't go into it thinking this replaces a gas/electric blower, you'll find it a great tool. If you plan to use it frequently, buy another battery.

Convenience of cord-free air blowing

The "Hoover - ONEPWR Cordless High-Performance Blower" is super-easy to assemble (just a few "clicks"), easy-to-use, lightweight, and very well-balanced in your hands when operating it with the battery pack. It does indeed a pretty decent job for a blower with the convenience of cord-free operation. The supplied ONEPWR 20V/4Ah Lithium-Ion Battery (which is interchangeable with other Hoover ONEPWR products) is good for about 14 minutes of continuous blowing when operating at max speed (though it does have variable speed control). The 4 LEDs on the battery shows available battery charge, which is helpful, and thanks to Lithium technology, the blower operates at a constant speed until the battery is depleted.
I do want to say though that this blower is not as powerful as corded (or gasoline) blowers and simply cannot be as there is only so much you can get out of a 20V/4Ah battery compared to a corded one. But the convenience of cord-free makes up for that easily. I would recommend this blower for light to medium tasks, such as cleaning your patio/deck, garage, and sidewalks after cutting and edge-trimming your grass. As for leaf-blowing, it should do well for dry leaves (could not test at the time of this writing). You may want to purchase a separately available battery for jobs that take longer than 14 minutes. Recharging the battery takes a little more than 3 hours.
Overall, this product deserves 5 stars when used for light to medium tasks as described before. In my opinion, it is not designed for heavy-duty tasks, such as blowing wet leaves or dirt. But, the cord-free operation makes this blower a strong thumbs up.

Lightweight, and cordless, this blower works as well, if not better than the big cumbersome corded blower we use to have. I can blow off the front porch, back porch, sidewalks and driveway in far less time too since I don't have to stop to untangle and plug in! An added bonus is that it is quieter than the big blower too - I'm sure the neighbors appreciate that!

This handy cordless blower makes it much easier to keep the driveway, deck, and walkways clean – especially now with leaves dropping down as soon as you have put the blower back in the toolbox. A heavy or wet accumulation of leaves and pine straw is better handled by a corded blower, but this cordless blower makes quick work of a light layer of newly fallen leaves and pine straw. An unexpected bonus is having the cordless blower for use on the roof, as it helps make keeping the roof blown off so much easier and safer.
Best features are (of course) cordless, so no messing with the long and limiting extension cord – helps get all the front curb blown off without having to change outlets on an extension cord; light weight and easy to handle; variable speed trigger to help the battery last a little longer but provide maximum velocity when needed. All these together make it much easier and much much much more convenient to grab the blower and do a quick touch-up to keep everything clean. Battery will last a good 30 minutes of use - with the variable speed helping with the run time - plenty of time to blow everything off and dust off the cars, too. Also should mention the noise level is much less than the corded blower, and not so much of a disturbance to the neighbors and their pets.
Overall, I wouldn’t say that this totally replaces a corded blower – those are sometimes needed if the leaves and pine straw build up for a few weeks, but the Hoover cordless makes it so quick and easy to keep surfaces blown off that the corded blower may not see much use in the future.
