    Would not recommend! Powerful only on first use!

    Upon first use of this product the suction seemed powerful, however I purchased this product on or around beginning of May 02, 2015. Today is 6/7/16 and already I have experienced the vaccum shutting off on me, as well as the push lever that flips open the bottom of the canister to empty dirt/ dust, etc. fell off and overall the product is not satisfactory! In addition, the Hoover warranty CSR dept. is not service-satisfaction oriented. I feel in cases such as this when a customer purchases their product and experiences issues within first 30-60 or 90 days HOOVER should honor patrons by either doing a loaner program when turning in for service repair, or HOOVER should allow the option to replace same product or upgrade, or full refund. I have always heard that Hoover has been around for a very long time, thus would make a patron feel secure with the impression that Hoover must be a great company to survive the industry for so long. Suffice to say I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A HOOVER AGAIN. I rate service and product model as BELOW ¨ZERO"on scale of 1-5. I am absolutely dissatisfied and with the service and product. Never again.

    Purchased this because I needed a new one for spring cleaning ,I had had my Bissell Pet Pro for over 10 years and my hose began to crack.I kept my new one in the box for 2 weeks wasn't going to use it until I finished my spring cleaning,opened the box and it seemed to work perfect just a bit heavy ,used it two days my husband unplugged it that night and the next morning we plugged it up and NOTHING ,no power ,noise,just dead.Tried to return it and got the run around because the warranty is 15 days and I had had it about 18 ,I could get in store credit even though I paid cash.I was very disappointed,the one I wanted Best Buy carried but couldn't match Kohls price due to an in store promotion.After an ugly disagreement with a manager and speaking to a general manager they matched the price .I purchased a Shark Professional Rotator . I absolutely LOVE it ! Worth the few extra dollars. I have pets and birds so I vacuum regular sometimes twice a day ! GOOD LUCK hope this was helpful

    I've had this vacuum for several months now and can honestly say it's the absolute worst vacuum I've ever owned. The brush does not automatically disengage but requires a foot pedal be pressed. If you forget to do that it either keeps spinning which damaged our linoleum floor or blinds up and burns out the belt. The auto retracting cord is absolutely terrible. The actual cleaning ability of this machine is average. I've purchased far cheaper vacuums that greatly out class this junk heap.

    I purchased this because it was the upgrade to my 6 year old one that died. IT died less than 2 months later, and the powercord never fully retracted. Got it exchanged for a new one and this one has also dies within the first year... FAIL. Not happy with "progress" Mr. Hoover......

    This vacuum is to heavy to push. Even on a short carpet you have to put the setting on high just to push the vacuum. I bought it for my parents who are in their eightys. /The Vacuum is not easy to move around. The only reason I bought it for them is because my dad heard it was rated high by consumers report. I would not buy this for myself. I would stay with a shark.

    I have been more disgusted by a product than I am with this vacuum! Doesn't suck up at all and top it off it is so heavy and hard to push. The cord gets really hot to touch when I unplug. I tried contacting Hoover but they ignored my call and email and Best Buy won't take back so I'm stuck with a vacuum that it horrible.

    Purchased this in early January. It's now mid-April. Three weeks ago, the cord stopped retracting. The vacuum part is adequate, but the cord feature was one of the main reasons I selected this model. I don't have the time or the patience to go thru the hassle of reordering & returning it.

    Before the vacuum broke, it worked perfectly fine. By no means was the vacuum put under high stress because it was used on short carpet in medium high and in a pet-free household. After 2 uses, the belt on the vacuum tore & made loud noises! I tried to get it fixed/replaced at my local Best Buy but according to them, they could not do anything about it because it was an "online order". This apparently also meant that I was ineligible for a product return or refund. They even went as far to recommend me to not order Best Buy's products online! This all happened within the month of purchasing this vacuum, so the return policy should have been valid. In short, this vacuum works fine when it isn't broken and if you choose to buy it, buy it in person.

    Hoover ???

    I have many Hoovers in the past and liked them but the last few I have had the cord rewind and the brush shut off switch don't work we have had this vacume for about 2 weeks and it is acting up we are going to exchange it and give Hoover one more chance

    Its very heavy and stopped working in 9 months. I called to best buy, they said its manufacturer's warranty so we cant do that. If you want repair at best buy we will charge from you. It has 2 years warranty, but they are not ready to change it.

    I have had this vac a very short time and it has no suction have to go over same piece of dirt at least twice to get it picked up. You can put the roller brush on on bare floors and it will disperse the dirt nicely so you do not see it in front anymore but will not pick it up. I am looking for a vac that really does what they say does it exist. You can clean filters after each use and still NO suction. There is very little suction even when using on board tools on hose. It will not even begin to pickup a few grains of litter on a tile floors scared how much dirt it is leaving in my area rugs. Ugh BIG WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

      Hi Britt! Sounds like there may be a minor clog in hose you're not aware of. We have a few suggestions that might help. First, remove both ends of the hose off the cleaner. Next, run a broom handle through the hose to knock out any possible clog. Remove any carpet fibers or strings that may be caught around the brushes. Hope this helps!

    The vacuum machine only lasted one year. It stopped working after that, it was good that I purchased geek squad protection plan.

    Hoover - WindTunnel 3 Pro Bagless Pet Vaccum

    The Hoover Vaccum started making noise on its 7th run. It has been making noise as if it has a broken bearing. We left a message at https://www.hoover.com/contactus/ a few times to no response and the number mentioned on the website 1 (800) 944 9200 never got picked up. This has been really poor after service support for the product.

    Worked okay for the first couple months then the pet detachments kept getting weaker and weaker despite constant cleaning of the vacuum and parts. If I use this vacuum for longer than 30 minutes it dies completely and will not turn back on unless I have my dad do a deep, deep clean by removing most of the pieces to the vacuum and replacing them. Horrible in general and really horrible for pet hair.

    I used my phone to do a quick search of vacuums while in my local BestBuy store. I should of done a better job. Out of the box this vacuum overheats and shuts off. I have one room in my home that has carpet and I cannot even vacuum the room in its entirety before the machine shuts itself off. After contacting Hoover I was told it was an airflow problem and to protect the motor the unit will shut off. AKA its a cheap and poorly made. Save your money, do more research and DO NOT purchase this vacuum.

    Attachments fall off for no reason. The lower filter is very hard to remove. The auto cord return never worked correctly. Sometimes it won't pick up anything & other times the units suction is too much which makes it the unit hard to push on carpet. I wish I could exchange it. I believe it's a lemon. I've had this brand in the past, units we built much better than the one I wasted my $$$$ on.

    I read quite a few reviews for this product and also asked some of my coworkers their opinions on it since they owned this item already, and overall it sounded great. Got it home, put the vacuum together, and when I tried it out there was almost nothing in the container after vacuuming my entire apartment. I have 2 pets so there's ALWAYS hair everywhere. I ended up sticking with my 4 year old vacuum as it did a much better job.

    I bought this vacuum without doing the research I usually do, that was a mistake. AFTER the vacuum just quit running repeatedly after only a few uses I went to the HOOVER website and found 98 negative reviews! Many were the same problem I experienced. There was an explanation from HOOVER, but regardless of the reason WHY it keeps shutting off, I still am returning this vacuum TODAY!
