I am so irritated. I bought this monitor for my home office less than 2 months ago. It looked pretty good – brightness controls aren't the best, color was always different than my Macbook Pro despite adjustments, but it was functioning generally great. Until ... yesterday.
From January 13 to March 8, this thing worked great. Then I plugged in my laptop, and I see a weird vertical line on the edge of the screen. Then a horizontal line, and then the lines are changing colors or going black. Thinking it was the HDMI dongle, port, or cord, I changed out everything and it was still there.
Booked an appointment with GeekSquad and ... "This is physical damage." How???? It was sitting on my desk overnight – no kids, no anything that would have touched it.
I saw another review that said this monitor was super fragile, so I've treated it with kid gloves since I got it. And now something (A ghost? Did I breathe too hard? Did I look at it wrong?!) bumped it and it doesn't work.
To top it off, Best Buy can't even send it in for diagnosis or repair - HP forces the consumer to deal directly with them. I fully regret getting this monitor.
I had it FOR LESS THAN TWO MONTHS and I guess a speck of dust punched it so now it's unusable. Never again. DO NOT buy this monitor unless you live in bubble wrap.

I bought 2 of these to go side by side for my wife, that's a Nurse & Case Manager at a local Hospital so she can work for home sometimes. They work great. Thanks Best Buy for having a great store and wonderful employees that helped me !

I chose this model (2 of them) to connect one on each side of my main 27" HP monitor, so I could multi-task across the
3 total screens with my mouse using multiple open files at the same time. They work great and the price of 99.00 each was the final factor in my purchase.

During the pandemic, I was fortunate to be able to work remotely from home with a new laptop and two monitors. Now that we are back to working in the brick-and-mortar office building, I no longer have an extra monitor at home for my personal laptop and I really miss it. I decided to buy an HP monitor because I have had good luck with the brand. I have an HP laptop and color printer I absolutely love that they communicate so well with one another. An advantage of the HP M22f monitor is that it is compatible with most other laptops.
The first monitor I ordered arrived banged up so badly during transit that the monitor was damaged, resulting in spiderweb cracks making it unusable. HP very quickly shipped me a replacement.

• At under 5 lbs, it is lightweight making it easy to move
• LCD display panel with active matrix and in-plane switching (IPS)

POSITIVES:
• The monitor was so easy to set up and I was using it immediately.
• It has a slim, stylishly sleek profile with a thin bezel maximizing the display.
• With the 21.5” screen, it fits on desk without taking up too much space.
• The foot/base is sturdy and an open design making it a great spot to store items on the desk (pens, post-its, etc.) for easy accessibility.
• The auto image adjustments are intuitive providing great picture quality and color accuracy.
• The cable containment feature hides the cord in the mount to keep it from getting entangled with other cables and cords.
• Tilt adjustment (head forward or backward) sets it to a comfortable eye level.

The OSD menu lets you customize the viewing features of the monitor with these settings: brightness, color, image, input, power, menu, management, information, exit. There is a power light to let you know if the unit is on, off, or in sleep state. While the function buttons are pre-assigned, you can reassign them to quickly access your most commonly used menu items.
• Eyesafe means low blue light without affecting color quality. The anti-glare panel has an LED backlight. This is perfect for people like me who spend long hours in front of a computer!
• Sustainability: monitor is crafted with 85% recycled materials. Energy saver feature for reduced power consumption.

I love this monitor so much that my husband is purchasing me a second one for my upcoming birthday. Once you get used to 3 monitors, there is no going back to fewer.

My new HP 21.5" monitor is the most elegant electronic-related item on my desk. It's functional, beautiful, and easy to assemble (for a non-techie!) My last HP monitor from Best Buy lasted an amazing 10 years!
