It works. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. It is easy to install. Functions are intuitive for any one even faintly comfortable with technology. I recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to over complicate his/her life with too many options.

My old HP printer finally quit working, so I bought this one. I have used Laser jet printers for over 30 years and they are much better than ink jet printers. This one is just as good as the last one. I can also print from my iPad or iPhone when I need to.

This printer is great for black and white printing. The cartages are not overly expensive and they are readily available at many different locations, Staples, Best Buy and Cartage world. They don't cost an arm and an A**. This unit is great for quality and speed and I would recommend it for office or college use.

So far printer works great no hiccups, we use this for work and we previously had a HP laserjet that printed like a half million copies but finally broke down so for me it was a no brainer to get another one. Hooked this up found it on our network and started printing.

A work horse of a printer. I am a professional computer consultant and I use these and comparable HP models for medium volume work spaces and offices with great success and limited problems. High volume offices end up replacing fuser unit after a year or so but it's easy and cheep to do.

I bought this printer partly because it was supposed to be easy to set up and I am computer challenged. After 4 hours of trying to set it up, making numerous unanswered phone calls to Best Buy, numerous attempts to use HP Smart, etc., I finally got a friend to help set it up. It only works by USB cable although it is supposed to be wireless. I am sorely tempted to return it because Best Buy claims to help install your purchases. I don't even know how to copy from it. So unless you are a computer geek, try something else or insist that Best Buy honor their claims and help set it up correctly.

So far so good. The printer is fast and the print quality is very good. I gave it 4 stars because the toner is very expensive at $106 per cartridge, which is almost as much as the cost if printer itself.

It’s easy to print remotely from iPhone or laptop. Prints extremely fast. I feel it’s a little expensive for plain black and white laser printer but it works well and after over 1 month of printing.

Needed a second printer to do a lot of printing but only for about a week every couple months - this is a perfect addition to the collection of printers. Has Ethernet capability which I haven’t used yet, but may utilize that in the future, but has great start to print and page by page speed

I love this printer. It does it all. I use to have the normal printer and decided to spend a little bit more to get a better quality printer. This is machine is fast and very efficient. Glad I switched.

I have had 2 of this style and brand and they keep getting better. For the money this is a work machine. The 2 that I have had each have lasted 10 plus years each and used all the time! My other all in one's and cheaper printers are trashed in less then 2 years.

Our new HP laser jet is working good. It helps us to reduce our printing cost. Printer is very easy to install and it is available for printing from mobile devices.

The HP LaserJet M404n is our standard personal laser printer for work. It is durable and economical. From an IT standpoint it is easy to support. Obviously, I recommend it because I will buy this printer again myself.

Fourth one I have purchased for my business, the price of the printer is great and we used them as desktop printers in the office, just be aware genuine HP ink refills usually cost $220.00.

Great prints, and very fast printing. This HP is replacing the work horse that no longer would run on my new operating system--it was still working after all these years and printing jobs. Very happy with its replacement.

This a very good printer for a small/home office as long as it is near an ethernet connection. I thought the description said it was wifi enabled but it is not.

This is a good size office printer. I bought it for work and connected a lot of employees via network. It never fails and the print quality is office quality.
