Overall happy with printer, reliable connectivity, fast prints, easy app. Note, eprint is not a feature with this printer (web services as referenced in the confusing manual). Also, the app asks for a “claim code” the HP support said this printer doesn’t support. Finally, you cannot print if your device isn’t on the same Wi-Fi network, meaning from your phone on cellular network.

Excellent value if all you're looking for is black/white printing. Silent and fast with a tiny footprint. Setup was a breeze. No more worrying about certain color inks running out or getting old. Smart HP software if intuitive and it just works. The scanner does an adequate job of scanning color photos and documents as long as you're OK with 600 dpi.

After owning for awhile, I really like the size and overall ease of use. On the Downside, the printer gets hot if printing too many pages, and either I haven't figured out yet, or the machine can't do it; when I cancel a print job, it doesn't permanently cancel. I can turn off even, and turn back on and it starts the job over again. So wastes paper and toner. Other than that, its a nice little printer.

I have a good experience with HP inkjet printers for home use, but lately I'm in the need to print a lot of documents and a laser printer is the best option, after researching for something affordable for home, I found this HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29W with great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I'm pretty happy with it. The installation was easy, it hooked up with all my devices on my network in minutes and the printing quality and speed is great. I tried most of its features and this printer really fit my needs, besides the productivity and efficiency compare with my previous HP InkJet Envy series printer is a plus.

A classic home office workhorse laser printer

When COVID came to town, the home office sprung to life. We needed a WiFi laser printer that my wife and I could connect to for work and home needs, and the kids needed something to print to for online school. We have had it for around 6 months now and it runs flawlessly, just like every HP LaserJet I've ever used before. Prints and scans fast. Easy to connect. What more to say? It's the perfect home or small office solution for clean black/white printing and low volume scanning.

This is a great printer if you print in black and don't print a lot. I use it primarily for shipping labels and it works great. I love that the ink doesn't dry out like it would in regular ink cartridges. You can buy third party ink online and I got a 2 pack from Amazon that was much less than HP and so far has printed a lot of pages and saved me a bundle. This is a very compact printer and has been great compared to the ink jets for me because I can go weeks or months without printing.

HP multi-function printer, with one teensy problem

The Best Buy portion of this was excellent. They had the product, I purchased it online, and they placed it in my car, curbside, hours later. The product itself does most of what I expected. It is a very small footprint. It is a laser printer, so I don't have to deal with clogged and expensive ink cartridges. The only problem is that it won't print PDFs from applications using Adobe software. Not from any flavor of Acrobat. Not from browsers that use an Adobe extension. This is because HP still won't license PostScript from Adobe, and uses emulation to manipulate the data in the print file. I last ran into this problem with the HP LaserJet 4050, a very common printer that I used to support. PDF files can still be printed, but it requires forcing them to open using a non-Adobe application, and then printing from there.

Black & White Laser Copier for Home Use

I have been using this new printer at home for a few weeks, and it works quite well. I primarly use it as a printer (B&W), but it is a handy copier, and it scans one page at a time. It uses the HP48a laser cartridge, which I am counting on to be cheaper per page that the inkjet cartridges of my old printer. There are no directions how to use the printer. You will have to watch a Youtube video.

We've had inkjet MFPs for years because my wife thought we needed color. We seldom print anything, but we need a printer in the house sometimes. Finally I was able to convince her we don't need the color function, so when our previous inkjet piece of junk after only a year and a half of being used every 2 months, I went looking for a compact monochrome laser MFP. Found this little guy within minutes, researched it, found good reviews all around, went and bought it. I've had it almost a year now, it works great when I need it, we've actually used it quite a bit more than our past inkjets for various reasons, it's been a good lil' workhorse. When my 78yo mom needed a new printer, I recommended this one to her, and she's been happy with it as well!

Best printer ever had by HP! Very easy to setup. Although I did make sure it was compatible with my laptop, Microsoft Surface 7. I have been using it now for a month and the printing, scanning works perfectly. Sync it with my I phone and Apple I Pad and prints from both devices without a hitch. Small enough that it’s fits on top of a bookshelve in the small office.
