    The Military Tank of printers.

The HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer may look just like any other at first glance, but it has a few tricks up its sleeve. The HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer is built like a military tank. I have printed about 500 documents without one hiccup. Yes, it is strictly black and white (with a max res of 600x600 DPI). But, when you are needing reliable, crisp document printing - you cannot go wrong with the HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer. Coming preloaded with 2 years worth of toner is just another HUGE plus of this "bad boy". Setup is a breeze via the app, and connection via WiFi is reliable (and finally, a "laser" that works on the 5ghz spectrum along with BLE as well) throughout our 2000'ish sq foot house. We have dedicated this to be our "downstairs workhorse" however, for convenience. The HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer performs like what you would expect from HP. Spitting out it's first page (from warmup) in about 8 seconds. It then can print out at a blistering 23 pages per minute. The HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer hold 250 sheets of standard paper, and 10 envelopes at a time. For some reason, other printers would make me jump through hoops to print envelopes - but this one (quite literally) spits them out like lightning - perfectly aligned. I would change absolutely nothing with the HP - LaserJet Tank 2504dw Wireless Black-and-White Laser Printer. It is our downstairs workhorse for a reason. If you want a reliable laser printer for your documents you cannot go wrong with this baby!

I was on the fence about a black and white only printer. In reality, most documents are printed in B&W. Print speed is fast, when it's connected. Print quality is also good. The double-sided print feature is nice as well and a paper saver. The HP 2504dw would be an ideal printer for high school/college student papers or small business documents. The ink toner capacity is amazing, no worries about running out. Another good thing about this printer is the ease of refilling. To refill the ink toner,a new toner refill is emptied into the printer tank. This reduces waste and gives you a nice supply of ink toner. The paper tray will nearly hold a full ream of paper. I put in about half as I'm paranoid about paper jams. The 4 star rating is due to the setup. I found the HP app confusing, not user friendly, and not well laid out. A non tech person may get extremely frustrated. There were issues getting it connected to my wifi network that took time to figure out. It has intermittently dropped off the network for no reason. The instructions that come with are not very detailed. Getting it to print from my phone -Pixel 6 pro- has been unsuccessful for the few days I've had it. Even with the setup headache, I feel this printer is well worth it. Economical, easy to refill, quality printing.

Seems to be a good printer for the price.

Seems to work great. It is silent which is what we were looking for. To download the printer driver was challenging (but then again I'm tech challenged). Let's see if we're happy after using it a while.

    Economical Laser Printer

Main reasons to get a laser printer over an inkjet is speed and cost per page. The 2504dw makes the price almost too good to pass up. With a 5000 sheet tank and a low cost of refilling it's almost like the printer will give up the ghost before you use up all the toner. I work in printing and trained myself to repair some expensive a large printers, so setting up the HP is a breeze compared to some of the hoops I go through at work. I was printing out my test page before I new it. Prints come out crisp without too much "fuzziness" from toner overspray. No complaints on the speed. I haven't tossed any complicated files with lots of vectors and transparencies to see if it chokes, but that's not my primary use for this printer. For simple small office and home use it's a perfect printer that won't break the bank when it's time to get refills. It's so inexpensive that I wouldn't even consider third party toners. Most likely will grab a second unit but with the scanner for my daughter. She'll make use of the copy feature more than I would.

Super easy to set up right out of the box. Remove the tape that is attaching the compartments, place the paper tray in, put in paper and you are ready to turn it on to set it up. The ink was already installed in the printer so one less step you have to do. It looks pretty neat too. It looks like you open a little compartment and pour the ink right into, so that seems pretty easy. It was easy to connect to wifi and get it up and running. Everything printed easily including the alignment set-up that all printers do. I will also say this and this may not be important to a lot of people, but for those working with small spaces and need something compact, this is the printer for you. It's got a box shape to it, which makes it easy to fit into tight spaces. I really think that's a bonus for anyone who needs a printer, but does not want something big and bulky. This is perfect. Printing quality is good, and it holds a good amount of paper that feeds through nicely without delays or problems with the paper getting stuck.

HP makes it so difficult to get things working. Troubleshooting is hampered by their app. This machine just kept malfunctioning. I returned it and bought a Brother. Fifteen minutes later, I was printing like a champ.
