Great monitor for gaming. My son loves it. Will purchase another one.

The image clarity and colors are great, but the vignetting is so severe it seems like the left and right edges of the screen are curved backwards. If you ever had a OnePlus with the curved screen you know what I am talking about. The edges look like they have a shadow over them and the image at the edges even appears blurry when viewing at an angle. I missed my return window because I read that this was just "IPS glow" and normal for these screens - but I recently got a Dell S2725DS, also an IPS panel, and it has zero vignetting and excellent view angles. If you are only using this for gaming, you may not notice it. It's extremely noticeable when I'm on spreadsheets or browsing the internet.

This monitor would be a four or even 5 star. But I bought it used, and it said it was in excellent condition. But after plugging in the monitor I come to find a horizontal line of dead pixels going through the screen. Was definitely a disappointment and was not tested before sold again

This monitor is great quality the graphics are epic!

Decent monitor - appreciated the different image settings and adjustable height for home office setup. However, this model did not have PIP/PBP for viewing 2 laptop inputs in a split screen. Had to return it for that reason.

Bought the 240hz monitor on Black Friday. Display and picture is amazing for the price. Huge upgrade from my 144hz benQ monitor I previously had.

I got it on sale for $279.99 and I would say it was worth it for the price I paid. However, it has issues and I would definitely not pay full price for it. It has distortion along the sides and in a few places along the top edges. The best part of it is how bright it is. I've only had it a couple months though so hopefully it lasts.

Overall a solid monitor but you definitely have to play around with the settings to get the colors to not appear so washed out.

The monitor looks great and has great response time. Catching it on sell at 299 was a great value for 240hz 1440p gaming

Can't go back to 1080 after this. My secondary monitor is 1080 but I only use that for other applications and streaming while I play on my 1440 monitor.

Panel is responsive and bright. In display ui works well but you can also use the omen app to customize if you want. Overall great buy for a 1440 240hz

After a few years with the Omen 25 I was excited to upgrade to a newer model. One of the first things that caught my eye was the customizable lighting on the back. It performed well for several months, but recently I've been dealing with frustrating backlight issues. This issue started at the beginning of my online school semester too, so it was the worst possible timing. The center of the screen is noticeably darker than the rest, making everyday use annoying especially when considering the price. I've tried swapping two different HDMI cables and even tested a new DisplayPort cable. HDMI gives some sort of display, but the DP port gives nothing at all. I also cleaned my PC and updated my graphics drivers just in case that was the problem. Sadly, the monitor's drivers themselves aren't even compatible with my version of Windows 11, leaving me out of options. To make things bearable, I’ve switched everything to Dark Mode and enabled the night light setting to partially mask the backlight issue. Thankfully I am still within warranty and will be reaching out to HP to see what they can do, but this will be the last monitor I buy from them.
