Really good laptop and super lightweight and I do like the battery life on it as well. Just make sure to turn HDR off if you want long battery life as I noticed I only get 2-3 hours of battery while doing school work with HDR on versus 7-8 hours with HDR off. also, gaming wise I play call of duty on it and I run mw3 multiplayer on extreme settings with 80-90 fps so pretty awesome!

I have been searching for months for a laptop that wàs powerful yet compact to run AutoCAD. I chose the Omen as it was the best value for the money. Best Buy's sales team was a huge help as well. Love the oled screen and keyboard feel. Rear connections were a smart decision and it's fast. 5 stars.

I purchased this laptop as my first dive into pc gaming as well as some graphic designing. I spent so much time researching different models and brands and I do not regret choosing the transcend 14. I’m only about a month in but with fairly heavy use and here’s what I’ve accumulated/experienced. Pros: -incredibly powerful for just a laptop. I hold 60-70 frames playing high end games. Intense graphic design is smooth and I never notice even a tear in functions. -the cooling system is top tier. I know laptops have always been notorious for overheating but this one seems to have skipped that stereotype. I average around 115° F and reach a max of around 150° with intensive use. -the price is completely fair for what you are getting. I was budget searching when I chose this laptop and I do not regret paying extra for something that exceeded my expectations. Con’s: -the battery life isn’t terrible but I would like it to be longer. Although I do use it for hours on end, I find that I typically have it plugged in more than not.

The HP OMEN is a phenomenal laptop. Powerful, fast processor; visually stunning graphics; lightweight; more-than-ample storage capacity. Built for gaming, but excellent for use in grad school where lesser laptops wouldn’t cut it. Highly recommend!

Very happy with this laptop. Bought it as I was considering a macbook but did not like the limitations of windows. So far the laptop has been great. The lightness and thinness are a very nice plus, and the screen is OLED and offers great contrast and brightness. One downside would be the metal HP decided to use on the chasis, it is very prone to fingerprints. Overall, good purchase.

Fantastic laptop with an amazing display, and good portability. A couple of caveats that made me run the laptop the downfiring speakers can be easily muted if they aren’t elevated on a surface, laptop gets really no matter what surface it’s on and keyboard is very mushy to type on. Would recommend for a college student or gamer that only is able to keep it elevated and for only 1080p games.

I have been using this laptop for a week now. It’s been great thermals have been good and he battery life has been great. It lasts 8 hours on light browsing and Word. Gaming is great on it too, while not the highest resolution it’s able to play every game I’ve thrown at it.

It’s a good laptop if you want to balance gaming and everyday browsing. Although the battery life may last up to 5 hours. It’s still pretty good. There is some problems where the screen will go black when I put night light on and then go back to bright light. Another issue is when I play a movie, very rarely the screen will stutter and go back. Playing games is very good. The fans are quiet and the laptop would not get hot which is good for me. Overall this laptop is a must for casual gamers who want to game and do everyday browsing.

I was looking for a laptop that could handle both photo/video editing and play AAA games at respectable levels all while not sounding like a jet engine getting ready for takeoff. This has great battery life and the fans stay quiet for most tasks. If they kick on, they efficiently cool and cut off quickly afterwards. I'm very happy with this purchase.

It was time to replace my old Dell gaming laptop. I decided with HP and I think this was the best option compared to what Dell had to offer. Really good specs and I think overall better quality.

This laptop is well-built, and the OLED screen is beautiful. The specs are indicative of the power this laptop provides. However, the thermal is not as good probably because this is a thin laptop. I also have a Lenovo Legion 5 for comparison, which has a far better thermal compared this offering by HP. The fan in HP runs if you open multiple tabs in Chrome or Edge. When doing demanding tasks, the fan becomes very loud. I'd still recommend this laptop at the 1k price I bought it. I wouldn't recommend it at more expensive price.

Great laptop that really wows at a distance but the issues are in the details. The keyboard RGB customization is zoned so options are limited. Also, it's one of the slowest among its competitors for gaming because the GPU power is throttled which means you don't get to use the full capability of the GPU. I returned this laptop. It looks nice though. I really wanted to like it.

    Premium Portability, Measured Performance

The HP Omen Transcend 14 is a triumph of design and display, delivering a gaming laptop experience that is genuinely portable. Its spectacular 3K OLED screen and comfortable keyboard make it an excellent choice for a creator, student, or professional who games on the side. However, to achieve its slim profile and thermal management, HP has intentionally limited the wattage of the GPU. This means its raw gaming performance, while strong, often trails behind similarly spec'd, but thicker, competitors like the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 or Razer Blade 14.

great laptop for people who want something thin and light but also want performance. All-metal body makes it feel robust. Screen is sharp and bright enough for most use cases; has performed well in all AAA titles tested (CS, FS2020, Valorant etc). Battery life can be 8+ hours on integrated graphics. No MUX switch so you have to reboot every time you wanna switch to integrated graphics. Jelly key caps might not appeal to everyone; The shadow black color is a fingerprint magnet (although it is relatively easy to clean).
