After years of being loyal to my iMac, I finally made the switch to an HP laptop and I’m honestly glad I did. My old iMac was fine for a while, but it started to feel outdated and limited. I wanted something more flexible, portable, and practical for how I actually work. I wasn’t sure what to expect going back to Windows after so many years, but this HP laptop completely surprised me in the best way. The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels. It has that sturdy, confident build that makes you want to pick it up and use it anywhere without worrying about damaging it. The hinge is firm but smooth, and the way the screen flips all the way around into tablet mode is a game changer. I use it in laptop mode when I’m working, then flip it into tablet mode when I’m reading, browsing, or showing something to a client. The touchscreen is responsive, accurate, and makes everyday tasks feel more natural. It’s the kind of feature I didn’t know I needed until I had it. Performance-wise, this HP runs great. I use it for real estate work, emails, photo editing, video calls, and a bunch of browser tabs open at once, and it handles all of it without lag. Apps open fast, multitasking is smooth, and it stays quiet even when I’m pushing it a bit. The battery lasts through most of my workday, which means fewer times scrambling for an outlet between meetings. Switching from Mac to Windows felt like a big leap at first, but I actually like Windows better now. Windows 11 has come a long way. It feels modern, fast, and personal. I like that I can customize things to fit how I work instead of being locked into Apple’s way of doing everything. The new Snap layouts make multitasking easier, Windows Hello login is instant, and everything feels more intuitive than I expected. I can organize my desktop, connect to whatever devices I want, and use real software without worrying about compatibility issues. The screen quality is also impressive. It’s sharp, bright, and the colors are accurate, which is great for editing photos or watching videos. The speakers surprised me too. They’re clear, full, and loud enough that I don’t always need to grab headphones or an external speaker for calls or music. It’s one of those small details that adds up when you’re using it all day. Another big plus for me has been HP’s customer support. I’ve had good experiences with HP in the past, and that hasn’t changed. They’re easy to reach, quick to respond, and actually helpful, which you can’t say about every tech company these days. It’s nice knowing that if something goes wrong, I won’t be stuck in a maze of automated messages and endless hold music. Everyday use has been smooth and reliable. The keyboard feels great to type on with just the right amount of feedback, and the trackpad is accurate and consistent. I also like that HP didn’t sacrifice ports for the sake of “minimalism.” I can plug in what I need without buying a handful of adapters. USB, HDMI, SD card, it’s all there. Coming from Apple, that’s a big relief. What I’ve come to appreciate most is how this laptop adapts to what I need. Whether I’m working on spreadsheets, jumping on Zoom calls, or flipping it into tablet mode to show clients property photos, it fits every situation. It feels like a tool built for real life, not just for a sleek marketing photo. If you’re on the fence about switching from a Mac to Windows, this HP makes it easy. It’s solid, fast, flexible, and actually fun to use. It feels more personal and capable, like something made for people who want to get things done rather than just look cool doing it. I can confidently say this was the right move for me, and I’d buy it again without hesitation. Five stars all day.

I’ve been really impressed with the HP OmniBook X Flip 16. The screen alone blew me away—it’s big, bright, and super smooth, which makes everything from movies to work look amazing. I love how sturdy and premium it feels, and the fact that I can flip it around into tablet mode or prop it up in tent mode just makes it so much more fun and versatile. Performance has been great too—it runs fast, handles multitasking easily, and the battery lasts long enough to get me through a full day without worrying. Honestly, it feels like a perfect mix of style, power, and flexibility, and I’m really happy with it.

This laptop was a recommendation from someone, now I'm not going to tell you this is the best bang for Buck laptop out there. This laptop cost $1,000 and it's on sale or is always on sale for almost half its own MSRP, this laptop has an Intel ultra i7 series 2 for its price of 600-700 bucks and having only 1 TB of storage I would absolutely buy it. It is a fully metal device made out of aluminum. It is very sturdy. It has its own cooling which needs some work but overall it can handle its own heat, The speakers on it are okay. They're not going to blow you out of the water but they are loud enough so that way you can hear at least for my ears. I can hear them in any orientation whether it be in tablet, tent or table top, for an inside story, I am coming from the HP victus that is basically at the same price, but I had a 3050 graphics card in that PC. The laptop had a Intel core i3 or i5 which eats your battery which is you have to be plugged in all the time for certain gaming laptops which I don't like with this laptop. Its Intel ultra i7 series 2. Can do some gaming on it. It absolutely can be gameed on even with different titles. My laptop testing is simple. I have Xbox so I get all the Doom games. If you cannot pass all Doom titles, you're not a laptop to basically game on I have tried Doom 2016 Doom the dark age. It passed all three with a big hiccups on dark ages. It is very slow sluggish frame rates drop Doom the dark ages is a new game and i should say a demanding game that will really put your CPU to The test, it's about 10 to 30 frames on its 60 frame settings. But overall it looked good and can run. If your laptop or CPU cannot handle by itself cyberpunk 2077 or any Doom title, you have a problem. And for the i7 ultra to handle Doom and Doom eternal and start up and play Doom the dark ages minus the frame rates and sluggish gameplay it's a solid pick for me. I will be getting just Intel base CPUs now because of it. Hp has got something really good going with this laptop. Oh and for people that are buying this laptop and wanting to get a 4 TB or 8 TB SSD get it bro. It's worth it. The motherboard on this particular laptop for the army book series rocking any Intel ultra i5 i7 and i9. Chipset has a motherboard that can do nvme SSD Gen 5. I purchased my gen 5 drive from Best buy and with Samsung so I have the 9100 and it is a 4 TB which I still have and it ran very smoothly fast and it was really great. If you're going to get this laptop and going to future proof it it is worth it for its price and its availability along with any Gen 5 SSD out on the market now, I am going to warn you. It cannot play every single game that is out in the market. It cannot run games that are from Doom going forward Doom the dark ages. I apologize. Going forward without a dedicated graphics card it can do anything from Doom. The dark ages backwards and it is a real enjoyable fluid. 60 frames per second experience. Give it a try! Don't knock it till you buy it

In all, I like this laptop. It's a nice size, the screen is sharp and most things work as expected. The one area I had problems was the Wi-fi. I have a Quantum fiber internet ser vice and was using the built in Wi-fi in their modem. For the most part, none of our devices have had issues with using it. It provides both 2.4GHz and 5GHz w-fi service. When setting up this laptop, it would connect successfully to the 2.4GHz wi-fi service but when connecting to the 5GHz wi-fi service, it said there was no internet connection. I spent more than a week trying various things to fix this with no success. I did find out that others have had similar problems with the laptop's wi-fi chip, which I wish I had known before purchasing the laptop, I was giving up and looking to return the laptop to Best Buy when I decided to try setting up a mesh wi-fi and see if that fixed my problem. I purchased a TP-Link BE5000 Wi-fi 7 3 pack mesh system and installed it in our home. After setting it up, I successfully connected the laptop to the new wi-fi service at 5GHz and it's been working ever since for about 2 weeks now. I wanted to write up this review to share my experience for others in the hope others might benefit from my troubles. While troubleshooting this problem, I was very unhappy with the laptop because of it. But now that it's fixed, I'm very glad I purchased and kept the laptop as it is very nice. While I don't enjoy having to spend another $250 for a mesh wi-fi system to get this laptop to work as expected all in all I'm happy with the outcome. I hope this helps.

Looking for a portable PC with the power and versatility of a desktop is relatively easy to find, until you want a touchscreen and tablet functionality, then the options start to dwindle. The HP OminBook X Flip is now available in 16" format and promises all the features of a desktop in a relatively compact size. I like how thin and compact it feels and looks with the tapered edges, yet remains premium and solid. The hinges are strong and hold the screen at any angle you choose, which is especially helpful in getting the right angle for handsfree movie viewing. The keyboard is big and spacious enough for my large hands, though I'm surprised they couldn't manage a numpad in the layout. The backlit keyboard has some good light piping on both low and high settings; I like the ability to set the time the light stays on from 30s, 3min, or always. The speakers don't disappoint with very good surround simulation and loud, full range sound. You'd have to be an audiophile to not like the sound, the bass is good as expected for such small speakers, sound is projected well. You get a super-fast Thunderbolt 4 USB-3 port for up to 40gbps transfer speed and display port capability, as well as a standard USB-C and A and HDMI, and headphone jack. Really, the only thing missing is a microSD slot, but you could always get an adapter for photo and video transfer. My least favorite feature is the screen. While as a touchscreen, it registers multi-finger touch quick and accurately, the resolution and light dispersion leave much to be desired. Initially, when 4K came out, the xK resolution is multiplied by 2 to get the megapixels you should expect, thus a 2k would be 4Mp, 3K is 6Mp, and 4K is 8Mp. By the original definition, this would be equivalent of a 1K screen or 1080p (1200p). The light dispersion is blotchy at low illumination, clearly evident on startup, but looks fine at higher NIT and contrast settings. Color reproduction is really good for an LED. There's no separate GPU, rather an embedded Intel Arc 140v with 128MB of dedicated memory and 8GB max shared. That said, gaming is good with most titles; AI acceleration really shines at getting the frame rates you need. I got a few hiccups and ghosting while on DBZ Sparking Zero, but still better than my usual rig running an AMD Ryzen 9 extreme. This is a well featured laptop with tablet functionality that sports built-in AI allowing for offsite computing help with demanding tasks making it appear faster than it otherwise would be. Plenty of great features rolled into this unit, and if you're not getting it for hardcore gaming or movie-binging, then the screen should be fine. Otherwise, there are other models, similarly priced that offer 3k OLED displays for less compromises.
