HP has done it again! They have made a great pc laptop within a great price! The computer is sleek, fast performance, and everything I have expected and more! I have had this laptop for all most a year now, and it works the same from the day I bought it! I mostly use it for my online courses and works fine for hours. The battery can last up to 2.5 hours or more with a single charge depending on what you have that could drain the batter, but from a pc I say that’s pretty good! This is my second purchase of a laptop from HP and I don’t plan on using another brand!

Sleek and fast... awesome 17 inch screen...love the clarity of pictures... Windows 10 is really nice... takes a little getting used too , but well worth it.... a lot of computer for the money... have already recommended this computer to several friends and family

Our old computer went belly-up on a vacation so a replacement was needed. We've had this computer for a month now. This is a good computer, especially for the price (our prior laptops were all over $1K, so this seemed a bargain!). There was vey little bloat ware on the computer to remove, just a couple of games. The initial setup was somewhat perplexing at first with the new Windows 10 but finished fine. I've had no problems with Windows 10 (especially since I was coming from Vista). I did use the McAfee LiveSave that was included as a 30-day trial and actually liked it enough to pick it up for a year. Usually I use Bitdefender. I added MS office (not 365) and it loaded seamlessly, plus a WD MyPassport external drive for backup purposes. I probably would have opted for a touchscreen and backlit keyboard if one had been available but BestBuy didn't have any in stock. Since we were in a bit of a rush, my wife convinced me we could live without it (as she was the one who had wanted the backlit keyboard, its exclusion was all okay on that point). Anyway, we've been happy with this computer and would recommend it.

The laptop has proven to be a great choice. The processor and memory are more than enough for most daily tasks and still handle some light gaming. The hard drive is large enough for storing pictures unlike some laptops that trade speed for storage size. The screen is bright enough to use in even a bright setting.

Admittedly my insistence on a 17 inch screen limited the number of laptops in my price range. I do like the screen. It is large and clear. The computer performs well, just a bit slow, especially at start up. Already some battery problems in just the first 30 days. (I wish technology could solve this lingering laptop problem once and for all). Overall a solid performing computer in the low price end.

This laptop is every thing we wanted. We love the ability it has to hold memory. It is fast at downloading games. My son loves how it has a large screen and the graphics show up so well. We think it was a great price for what we got! It's lightweight and convenient to move from room to room. Highly recommended.

I purchased this laptop for my mother. She skypes with family members, checks emails, and shops online. This was the best laptop for her without spending a ton of money. the screen size is huge which is great for when she skypes with family.

Needed a new computer for typing notes. Did not need a lot of extras that I would never figure out how to use. This Pavillion has a nice large screen and was at a good price point.

I am a longtime HP user. My last laptop lasted 8 years. I have tried others, but they never worked or lasted as well. That being said, I was a little skeptical of this laptop based on it's price. Did all the research and so on. WOW......I could not be happier! This laptop is great. Loaded with great features. Very powerful, lots of storage and very easy to setup and use right away. I work Ebay a lot, and this HP laptop kills it. Liked it so much, bought one for my daughter. Great graphics, and fast too. Unless you are into super gaming, and I think this one does great at that too. This is an amazing laptop for the price.

Love the Windows 10 and ease of use. Especially like the wide, bright and high resolution screen.

Good laptop for the price. Using it primarily for Quicken and a computer to browse the internet. Came with Windows 10 which was a plus.

I was hesitant to consider buying this HP, as I had never dealt with this brand...always bought Dell in the past. The gentleman that assisted me at Best Buy in explaining what I really needed. It was easy to set up and was for a very good price. I also hesitated to purchase from Best Buy, because at one time they had a very high restocking fee if you returned the merchandise. They no longer have the restocking according to the sales person. I am thoroughly pleased with the computer thus far.

It works well, fast, with windows 10 it works very well.. Easy to network.

the laptop is an excellent one that I bought, it is fast, and I like the big size since it I like how it looks. the price was great as I got it when it was on a 4 day sale. it is a good laptop for anyone to get started on. I would buy it again if it came on sale once more.

This was a last minute choice while in best buy. It had what I needed in a computer. This is my first HP, I am normally an Acer person. I have had this computer for a month, it seems pretty good, although it seems a little sluggish during start up & I do not like how hard you have to press the mouse pad to right click! But It does what I need it to, and was a great deal!!!

We were replacing a desktop computer. Asked a few IT guys their suggestion on what to get and we went with HP. This laptop has a 17" screen which makes it easy to see and has Windows 10 which we still haven't decided on yet. The only con might be the size...it's not compact because of the big screen. We love it though and for us it's no big thing since it doesn't leave the house.
