Not a huge fan of the color but the power and storage this computer packs is huge. Tested a few netflix movies and it is clear as day. Very impressed by the the 4k oled. Battery is great I haven't found myself plugging it in too much. The only thing I wish is that it would be packed with even a slightly better graphics card as the mx250 is too basic.

Really can't figure out how nobody is complaining about it. Now more than ever a good Webcam is a most and this awesome laptop just falls short. It's a 2 MP cam using a 2006 driver. Everything looks like an old TV broadcast show. Not lying, see it for yourself. Support was not able to help. On the other hand, the screen is beautiful! Rich colors. The sound, oh my! May be the only thing to make me decide to keep it. 4 speakers, music plays cristal clear!! Voices on video call not so much but was expected. It was expected that the battery last just a few hours because the high demand specs. I'm can live with that. If you don't do video calls (Shame on you! Practice social distancing, please!) then this is a very good laptop. Could be EXCELLENT if they fix the camera and extend battery life.

    Great Laptop

I have been using a Microsoft Surface Book for the last few years and have been spoiled. When the time came for me to buy a new computer for work, I did a lot of research and found that COnsumer Reports rated this Laptop from HP as one of the highest ranked laptops in their tests for 2019. I am not a gamer - but I do a lot f photo editing, word, Excel and Powerpoint documents and so this Spectre X360 looked like it was the perfect Laptop for my needs. I was impressed from the moment I opened the box. Great looking LapTop, incredible display (OLED) and great sounding speakers. I found nothing to complain about, nothing that I wished it did that it doesn't, it is the perfect lap top for me and I couldn't be happier. If you do some gaming, I understand that this computer will be ok, but it apparently doesn't have the kind of graphics Card you need to do the really immersive graphics fo today's video games. But then I don't play games so that is perfectly fine by me. All in all, a beautiful lap top with a gorgeous screen, fast processor, plenty of memory and even a stylus if you do any drawing work that needs a stylus. Far better than the last HP I owned - and as good or better than the Microsoft Surface Book I used to use.

I have been an HP guy for decades now and that will never change. This HP unit was expensive but I needed one that would work good for business and pleasure, this one does the trick. No complaints what soever.

I love, love, love my HP Spectre 360. I'm so glad I did not listen to online reviews, as I have had none of the issues I've read about. The keyboard is not bouncy at all. I have no clue why some online reviews bashed this machine. This is a top quality computer. It's gorgeous too. Love the 4K pictures. Mine came in dark ash grey with the rose gold trim. The sound is excellent. I've had it for 1 1/2 years now and no problems. If I had to grip about one thing, I don't believe the battery life is what it was 1 1/2 ago. I feel it was unbelievably good for the first six months and then was half as good, but did not deteriorate after that. I'd say I got 4 to 5 hours or more on the battery and now it's 2 to 3 hours. I'm still in love with it though and perhaps I just need to run it through a recalibration.

I still have my previous HP Pavilion and it’s been like 8 years now and although it’s still working, the battery can be an issue. It didn’t make sense for me to download Windows 10 so I just got a new computer. I’m not that tech savvy so I literally spent a week learning about computers (storage, ram, etc). I got this one about a month ago and it actually looks way better than I thought it would. The color is spot on and it has a beautiful professional look. Overall, everything works fine on the computer so far. I only use the computer for school and to work from home. I regularly use it for meetings like Skype and Zoom. I also use the internet along with VMware from my job. The cons are the battery can get depleted fairly quickly with me just doing my work and school. Also, it picks up fingerprints on the outside of the laptop very easily so I have to wipe it down after every use and sometimes my mic and camera don’t work when I log into Skype and Zoom trainings If I start trying to multitask with multiple programs open. Initially, I thought it was an issue with Skype, but when I logged into a Zoom training and was going back and forth to other programs I had the same issue. If I just use it to do Skype and Zoom meetings and nothing else, it is fine. It could also be the network I’m on when I’m logged into my work network as I haven’t had an issue with the mic and computer when I’m off my work network. I’ve only used it once outside of work and it was fine. The other con is it doesn’t have a drive for cds or dvds which I just wanted to have, but that’s only because I’m not that into streaming or those things yet. Even with the cons, I would definitely buy this laptop again. HP’s really last a long time and I really like the spectre.

Fastest laptop I've owned. Perfect for photography, but you MUST calibrate the screen first. Out of the box, the reds are too intense, but easily calibrated. I've owned the laptop for about 3 weeks now, and I am extremely happy. Boots up fast, programs load super fast, and editing RAW files from a 24 megapixel camera using Lightroom is a breeze. However, last night, I noticed that the speaker output was uneven---the left speaker was significantly louder than the right. Downloaded and updated the audio drivers, uninstalled and installed the drivers, to no avail. Finally, I did a hard reset by pressing the power button for 15 seconds. And voila, the speakers are fine again. So yeah, I would still highly recommend this laptop. Audio is not a big deal for me because I have other devices/equipment for listening to music and watching movies, so the minor speaker hiccup is not a deal breaker. And it was fixed anyway.

Only problem I have is when I type quickly the cursor will jump to another line. Very irritating. Also, would have like another USB port. Haven't heard the cooling fan as of yet even when I am on the laptop for 7 hours straight! Color, sound is great! I am happy with this purchase. Love the pen for my signature on documents, screen is perfect size, an attractive laptop and I love the touch features. Just wish it had an instruction booklet- I am old school.

Great for Photography - Best Screen!

This was a hard choice for me to make and I went back and forth between Costo, Sam's Club, and Best Buy. Though the discount stores had great pricing their laptops were not powerful enough to handle the likes of Photoshop and high-end videography without hiccups. I was looking at another laptop at the time but then I glanced over to this model and noticed that I could clearly see the screen from and extreme angle while the other faded at the same angle. This is important because I needed a machine that I could show my photos on to clients without having to put the client directly in front of the computer screen. With the Spectre, several people could comfortably view the screen no matter where the sat to watch. I recommend

Great Product, Great Price - Upgraded 1TB and OLED

Had been suffering issues from top of the line Surfacebook2 that graphics card just failed suddenly, I was pleasantly surprised to find this machine with capabilities as an in-stock and decently priced option. I don't think this machine throttles performance like the old surfacebook did, because when it's working hard it pours out heat from the exhaust ports - not excessive, just that it is willing to use all the performance you actually paid for! I'm very impressed at the upgraded screen in the 1TB version, I almost missed it when trying to research hurriedly to buy the best one I could - the extra $400 buys you more than just the bigger hard drive. I really love having a numeric keypad again and the size of the frame and weight is better than any laptops I've seen to date that still offer the full-function keypad. My only wish (and I would have been willing to pay for) would be an option for a really kicking graphics card for some of the heavy-hitting software this one goes through, it would only have made a great thing that much better.

Great Laptop with Sufficent Hard Drive Storage

So far, So Good. Haven't had any issues yet. It was on the expensive side, more than I wanted to spend, but I read reviews and it is much better built than the Envy and I want to keep this for a long time. I bought this laptop because I wanted to back up all my Apple Devices and my 512 hard drive on my MacBook Pro was out of storage space. The 1TB on this laptop has plenty of headroom for me. I also agreed to pay more for this model because it is a tablet as well. So easy to flip over to tablet mode, really is a 2 in 1 with a ton of storage. The hinges are so well built, and awesome! Also, I insist on a full number key pad if I am going to spend my own money, which this size does offer. Lastly, I know some laptops are going OLED for the display, which might be a bit sharper, however this is an Organic display, similar to the old Plasma TV's. They can suffer image burn-in, which concerns me. So I am happy that this does not have OLED. No Burn-in concerns if I leave it on for any reason.

Gem cut body lines, eligant rose gold and beautiful grey make this laptop stand above all the others. Top it off with a 15.6" 4k Ultra HD Touch screen at a native 3840 x 2160 resolution make your eye balls climax. Utilizing a 10th GEN Intel Core i7-10510U 14nm processor with a base speed of 1.8 GHz and a Turbo Boost Speed of 4.90 GHz!! handle any task with ease. 16 GB of DDR4-2400 memory on tap will keep running silky smooth. Massive 1TB SSD give you more than enough hardrive space for all your photos, movies, music and games top that off with a 32GB Optane SSD make any task lighting fast! Loading times are a thing of the past! Back light keyboard, over sized track pad and Bang & Olufsen speakers are the icing on the cake. Choosing this as my MBP upgrade was a great choice. I am very happy with this laptop and show it off to everyone every chance i get.

I needed a replacement for my Microsoft Surface 3. After a bit of research, the HP Spectre was the one that fit my needs. I am not disappointed with this purchase. I love the 15" screen. Faster downloads make using the net a lot easier. Knowing that I have 1TB SSD means no worries about storage space. The backlit keyboard is very comfortable and it's easy to see in dim or dark lighting. It's nice having the number keypad. The fingerprint reader was a nice bonus that I was not aware of when I did my research. I mainly use the laptop at home so I have no comments regarding weight or battery usage, but I don't expect any problems. One small quibble, there is no indicator to show if the num lock is engaged or not (like on the caps lock). A small (very small) annoyance, but not a deal-breaker. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase. and would not hesitate to recommend the HP Specter to a friend.

I had a checklist and was able to tick off everything and more. Since I purchased it, I have had no problems. I like the backlit keyboard, which comes on automatically when I start to type. I like the touch pad because it is not too sensitive. It doesn't move all over the screen with the slightest touch. I like the color, the design, and the weight. The only downside, is that it does not have a built in DVD player so I had to purchase an external one. For me, it was a great buy!

I purchased this as a result of my 5 year old PC getting a new SSD, but then had memory issues and just couldn't keep up with my current demands. This has twice the RAM (16GB) as I had before and hasn't skipped a beat since I received it. I run Slack, Zoom, Visual Studio and several other apps ALL day long. Sure beats the heck outta having 1 app on my phone, 1 on current pc and another on 2 pc's ago. Not to mention that it's BEAUTIFUL!!! I mean really stunning. All newer pc's could use more ports, but I have a USB-C hub that is working great off of 1 of the USB-C ports this has. A touch pricey, but I've learned that you get what you pay for. My last high end pc lasted 5 years, not 2 or 3 like others. Larger ROI and less cost per year than cheaper models.

I’m very happy with my decision to buy the Spectre x360. My beloved Surface Pro broke in half the week my job went online due to COVID-19, and I home-tested 4 laptops (Surface, Galaxy, HP Envy & x360) to find the fastest, most durable and reliable replacement...Spectre x360 won by a landslide! I use it every day all day, for both work and play. The color quality is noticeably brilliant! Good battery life, super-fast downloading, and no video lag when streaming. And I love the design. It does blow out some warm air occasionally, and it’s a bit heavier than the Surface...Trade-offs I’m happy to make for the significantly upgraded features and peace of mind. Thank you, HP!

I am pleasantly surprised with this HP Spectre. I have had 2-HP Pavilion laptops that I LOVED all the way to the end of their tech lifespan. My 5-year old Pavilion was on the way to needing life support when the pandemic hit and every student in the state had to complete the academic year via technology, so the demand for laptops was higher than supply. No comparable Pavilion models were available so I settled for this Spectre. I now LOVE it too. It looks good, is fast , I have the storage I need, it sounds good, the graphics and colors are fantastic and I upgraded to a touch screen. I was sad to move on from my Pavilion and will be just as sad when this laptop comes to the end of its tech life.

So I am a half way technical person, was looking for a great machine to use for home, work and to do some light photo editing. This machine has really done a good job at all. It’s quiet, it’s absolutely beautiful to look at and I really like the display. The only drawbacks are that it has no DVD/RW disk drive, no SD card slot and it needs additional USB slots. However, all of this can be solved with a docking station, which I’ll have to purchase. Overall the machine works well and was easy to set up. I love it just wish it had more media inputs.
