I have had this CPU for over a month now, Playing Total War Atilla, Skyrim and Goo, all maxed out. Make sure to check all the wiring when it arrives and the 2nd Drive needs to be configured out of the box, only takes 10 minutes, plenty of YouTube videos out there. For the price, You cant beat the Power. I don know how I lived without a SSD, Boots up in seconds.

bought this pc may of 15 and ran it stock for a year and its been great for games, the ssd drive holds windows and boots up fast like a mac, the 2nd 1t hard drive is included but wasn't set up to use, ( click the folder on bottom task bar then right click "this pc" then left click "manage" then left click "disk managment" you will see the drive on the bottom right click it and select "new simple volume" and run through the set up wizard.
The phantom 240 case has great air flow with 1 intake fan at the bottom front and 1 exhaust fan in rear top. your able to add another intake fan in the front and bottom center with 2 more exhaust fans in the top of case.
The mother board ms 7817 is good but only holds one graphics card and has 4 sata cable connections so you can add an extra hard drive
the processor intel i7 4790k 4.00 ghz is very good
gtx 960 graphics card 2gb will run new games like bf4 cod acu aliens wow, nfs and the division fine, it has a bit trouble with arma 3 and ark survival evolved and slight stutter with acu unity on ultra settings
power source is only 500 watt but handles the stock system fine.
for the money its a great computer to get into pc gaming. what ive upgraded and would recommend to others down the road would be upgrading to corsair 850 watt power supply $120 (which had the main plug to mother board and an 8 pin wire that splits in half to connect to the other 4 pin adapter on the mother board, all other connections were easy to connect.)
i would also go with the gtx 970 4gb gpu for about $350, or jump to the gtx 980 ti 6gb ($650), as the 980 ti is only a hundred more than the gtx 980 4gb ($550), and runs about 20 frames per second on ultra settings.
the last thing i would upgrade is the cpu cooling fan for 50 bucks once you upgrade the graphics card and overclock the processor.
this system with an evga nvidia 980 ti gpu, 850 watt psu, and better processor cooling fan with an extra hard drive will run the price near to 2300 but is still cheaper than an imac and will run games with graphics that look better than real life for some time to come, but even if you keep the original gtx 960 gpu download evga percision x to controll your graphics card fan speed and easily set your cpu fan speed through bios. also the middle case in the front that holds extra drives removes if you need more room for cables or a big gpu...
great gaming pc well beyond the capabilities of any console ...included 2 stock pictures

This is an IBuyPower, i7-4790k CPU, it has 4.00 Ghz processing speed, 64 bit operating system, 16 Gb of RAM, a NVIDIA G Force 960 video card, and 1 Tb of Hard Drive. This is an awesome gaming CPU for the on line gamer which will easily handle all existing on line games. Great Price and assistance from the Sales People at Best Buy that was available through their Marketplace purchase program. Drawback. When the CPU arrived to my home the Hard Drive was not properly installed and was not attached. It was loose in the approximate position of where it should be installed so I had to take advantage of being a Geek Squad member to get it set up properly and inspected before I even turned it on.

I bought this computer mainly for video editing and light gaming and it has not disappointed. Fastest computer I've ever owned. What used to take me hours on a 6 year old laptop takes minutes on this machine.
I didn't understand why my monitor wasn't working when i first plugged it in, I contacted ibuypower support line and they informed me that I was plugging it into the wrong place without being condescending -_-;;
Very nice people
The 1TB hard drive was not immediately working, which I did not even realize until after a week of using the computer and i used up the C drive's 120 or so gigs, I couldn't figure out where all my space had gone. After googling my issue I was able to open the system settings and see the 1TB drive existed, but the issue was that it was not partitioned. I didn't even know what partition meant at the time, but I continued to calmly google and was able to partition it myself in no time.
I love the window to the tower, the fan has a swirly blue light and the graphics card is lit up green and you can see all the cool stuff going on inside. It looks like a beast and I love it.

So, I went on quite the adventure getting this beast up and functional. I will say first and foremost that once I was done spending literal days sorting out a huge issue, the computer has run flawlessly since and its processing power is incredible- this thing boots up in seconds, and can run Elder Scrolls Online, Minecraft, Skyrim, etc. on max graphics settings with no problem.
When you first get this thing out of the box, some assembly is definitely required. You need to open both the side panels in order to take out the foam, and you will need to make sure everything is connected and intact. Mine came with its terabyte hard drive wedged sideways in its docking shelf thingy, so I had to very carefully push and pull at it to pop it and the mounting out, and then slide them back in the right way. (I assume this is intentional since it wasn't damaged, so as to keep it from being jostled and broken during shipping.)
MAKE SURE YOU PLUG YOUR HDMI CORD INTO THE RIGHT PLACE ON THE BACK. There is one very obvious looking port labeled HDMI, but the second port midway down is the one you have to use. (you gotta pull out a little green tab to get to it.) Iirc, you also need to plug the keyboard and mouse into the 2 usb slots on the top of the computer initially because the ones on the back don't work at first.
Once you've got the guts of the computer sorted out and turned it on, it'll prompt you to set up Windows 8.1. I will say now that I hate 8.1 an awful lot, but was willing to give it a chance and overlook it for this pc. As I began personalizing my pc and getting used to things, I finally decided to try downloading Elder Scrolls Online to really see what it was capable of in terms of actual gaming. However, the download failed, citing that I was missing some .dll files of some sort. I tried everything to fix this- I downloaded the alleged "missing" files from Microsoft's website itself, I tried reinstalling, EVERYTHING. I finally got so fed up I tried to factory reset or restore the computer, but no matter what I tried, it kept telling me it couldn't do it because- yet again- some files or whatever were missing. This is what tipped me off that something was wrong- what sort of computer in this day and age can't factory reset itself, even with the 8.1 reinstallation disc or booting from the BIOS menu?
Ultimately, I had a computer nerd friend take a look at it, and he concluded the preinstalled factory copy of Win 8.1 the PC came with was "mega screwed up". What I ended up having to do was get windows 7 on a flash drive, and force the computer to boot from the flash drive in order to erase Win 8.1 and install Win7 in its place. As soon as it was done, it booted right up, I installed ESO and a few other games, and they worked 100% perfectly. I have not encountered a single problem since converting this PC to windows 7.
PROS: Runs beautifully, and is whisper-quiet. Lots of room inside for upgrades/extra hard drives. Boots up in less than 10 seconds, and the blue glowy color is neat. A lot of reviews I've read said the keyboard and mouse were terrible or even broken, but mine run perfectly fine.
CONS: Initial setup is awful if you happen to be unlucky enough to get a buggy copy of Win 8.1 like I did.

Great Computer, with some Issues

Well overall the computer runs absolutely great and is able to handle anything I through at it. But their are some issues in the assemble. First thing I noticed was the IO shield (the metal piece around the ports on the back) wasn't inserted properly and some prongs where covering important ports. Secondly was cable management, I wasn't expecting great management but this sucked cables where everywhere and their was even a USB extender zip tied to the drive bays with a wireless adapter plugged in, total ghetto style. Also and this is the BIGGEST issue, is that one of the case fans (the back one) isn't on. I'm pretty sure that its not plugged in but haven't had the chance to open it up. Besides that computer works well and is great having an overclock able processor (I got it up to 4.3 GHz on stock cooler). Another bonus was the graphics card, it isn't a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960, well it is but its the wind force reference card edition, good plus but overall the sloppiness of assemble outweighs the outstanding hardware.

Man I haven't ever bought myself a great computer. Always getting the cheapest but this one is just totally amazing. All of my PC games run at ultra settings without a problem. I have YouTube music in the background while streaming live footage of my gameplay and live logging kills...and no lag whatsoever. It was the best $1000 I have spent on a real gaming PC. I would highly recommend it and I kick myself for not buying it earlier

So after dealing with some issues with the first one I got (bad SSD, broken heat detector giving a constant reading of 100 degrees Celsius and throttling the processor down to 1 GHz) and getting a replacement this computer's been working great! It does require a bit of set up, the internal wires tend to come unplugged during transit + removing the protecting foam from inside the case, but they're pretty easy to plug back in if you know what you're doing or you bring it to best buy and have them do it for you. The wiring routing also tends to be a mess but once again you can fix it yourself or have someone help, it's not too big of a deal.
After going through all that the replacement did have it's 1TB HHD sitting in the case crooked and unplugged but now that it's straightened and plugged in properly it's running just fine.
For gaming this thing is pretty dang beefy, I can run basically anything I want on max settings and at a solid 60fps. There's tons of room to upgrade and the first thing I get for it will probably be some more cooling since it can get a little toasty.
I looked around quite a bit and wasn't able to find something with nearly as good of specs and upgradability for a similar price, so I'd definitely recommend it if you're comfortable with computer guts, willing to learn about them, or willing to take it in to the geek squad for some help.

I have enjoyed this machine for about a month now and I have been very impressed. All my games can be set on HIGH great for gaming. Takes like 10 sec max for full start up maybe sooner. It is a powerful machine. It did however not come with the terabyte hard drive turned on. I had to go into settings to do that it was only using the ssd drive at the beginning. But other then that GREAT machine.

Build quality appears to be good. Machine arrived on good working condition. It's a beast of a system with plenty of room for growth. I'ts surprisingly quiet. Only complaint so far is the mouse and keyboard, not the best, would prefer to pay a little less and get my own.

This is the first time I have bought a PC that was labeled as a gaming computer. For the cost of this PC I am very happy with the purchase so far. I play a lot of WoW and it is currently running the Ultra video setting and getting about 99 fps, with a raid frame rate around 50, though have had it dip to about 30 when doing Kazz. I also play Final Fantasy 14 but have yet to play that on this system but I'm sure it will play it without any difficulty. The SSD makes for quick start up, first time with this feature as well. I love having the computer ready to go in seconds.

I bought this to work from home at night and on the weekends. In a CPA and I had to match my setup in my office to work remotely so I needed something with the capability to handle 4 monitors. Other brands were more than double the price for far less powerful video cards. I've had this about a month and so far it's been great!

It took about a week to arrive which wasn't a problem the desktop was unharmed although the slots which are suppose to hold the hdd were crooked and bent but I was able to easily move them back in position. After about 4 months of use I'd say it's very fast runs Doom on high setting about 45 fps and is really quite. Was slightly disappointed the blue light I saw on display at bestbuy wasn't in model I had. The only negative I would say is absolutely must change the wifi adapter takes forever to download anything otherwise awesome pc

Computer Purchase

I recently purchased a computer from best buy.com through my local store and had it shipped. The turn around time was great and no problems with best buy. however the manufacturer shipped me a machine that I have had nothing but constant problems with. first thing the operating system crashed and I had to reload it. then the 1tb drive was not formatted and no drive letter was assigned to it. Then the usb 3.0 ports started dying. lastly about 12 days in it shut off and would come back on and off and on and off to find out the motherboard died. I called the company where it was made and they had the gall to tell me I had to pay to shipping to have their defective product fixed. plus the guy on the phone was completely rude to me and disrespected me at every turn. I will be returning this product and never purchase anything from that god awful manufacturer ever again. I trust that this review will have an influence on others not to purchase from them either. I read previous reviews as well after things started to go wrong and noticed a trend. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I had been eyeing this computer for a while but it was always sold out online. It was worth the wait. They ship it well protected. The case is aesthetically pleasing. The computer booted up very quickly out of the box. The solid state drive was 128 GB instead of the 120 advertised. It came with an extra large mousepad.
What was most impressive is that there is virtually no bloatware on the machine! I expected to spend the first hour or so after boot-up removing unwanted programs and messing with settings. Didn't need to do that. After a few Windows updates and a graphics card driver update it was ready to go.
A great buy.
