This was a great deal, and it just goes to show it pays to watch for deals when they come up. Best Buy made it super easy even though they weren’t the actual company selling the product. It was from New Egg. Shipped ridiculously fast. Came a week before it was supposed to during the Christmas season. Computer is fast and well put together.

I attempted to return an item and my return was denied due to a “serial number mismatch.” The problem is that no serial number was ever provided on my order confirmation, receipt, invoice, or order history.
I returned the exact item I received, in good faith, and followed all return instructions. Newegg acknowledged my dispute but stated they had no serial record and therefore could not process the return—yet still used that same issue to deny it.
Customers cannot be held responsible for serial numbers that are never disclosed. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has eroded my trust in Newegg’s return process.
