Charges as good as the original if you are looking to save a few dollars and get the same service this is your best bet. Different colors also to keep all your items separate if need be. Works on Kindle, and cell phones.

Got real tired of constantly buying/exchanging the ones sold at gas stations, liquor stores, that are super cheap and take all day to charge the battery to 50%. Works great and charges the battery on my phone and tablet pretty quickly.

Having an Honors Degree in Electronics Engineering, I have an interest in devices and their applications. Connectivity is important. Sometimes, OEM's provide cables that work but they are thin and thinly shielded. With heavy use they wear out. These cables are thicker and more durable. I am not sure that the core( conducting metal, usually copper), is actually thicker. I think that this might be the case, as I notice less resistance. Meaning faster transmission with connected devices that can make use of this property. I am happy with my purchase. Try one and see if you notice a difference.

I only needed a replacement cable because the cat liked to eat the original one that came with the phone. The cat does not eat this one. It works and has held up to constant plugging and disconnection.
