    I had an accident with my lap top resulting in 2 of the 3 USB ports being unusable. I went to Best Buy thinking I'm going to need a new computer with at least 3 USB ports. I mentioned this to the salesman and he suggested this hub... it did the treat, works great, saved me a bunch of money.
