    I use this hub to connect my printers to my PC. Being USB 2.0, it is fast enough for my printing, but would not be a good choice for a hard drive, or even for transfer to a 64 GB USB stick. I like the short pigtail to the PC, and four ports meets my needs.

    The cord for this hub is less than a foot. If it is plugged into the back of a tower, then you'll never reach it without spending extra money on a USB extension cord. Since my USB ports were disabled in the front of my tower, I had to buy the extension. The only extension available was pricey and longer then necessary.
