It is a very convenient way to expand the number of available USB ports on a device. The hub, however, does seem a bit flimsy. Not sure how it will last, as I have only used it a short while, but it was inexpensive.

Ipurchased this adapter to compensate for lack of useable usb ports.

That's all it seems to be good for though - charging via computer. I tried hooking my Nook out of curiosity and couldn't open any files.
