Twice the weight of it and the things inserted caused it to disengage. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong. I have a short fuse when it comes to having to look behind my hard drive and preventing that activity is exactly why I bought the hub.

The CD installation says it works with all Windows versions up to Windows 8. ??? Needless to say it does not work with Windows 10. Paid more later at Microsoft store for a 'modern' unit which does not need to be installed, just plugged in. The only saving grace is the low price means it would cost me more in gas to return it.

Haveing only 2 ports on my laptop, the mouse uses one and the keyboard uses the other. Any other device I wanted to connect had to displace either the mouse or keyboard. Solution, purchase another "hub port", which I hadn't planned on.
