Works great with Mac

Just stick in the power unit to power plug and than the usb from hub to mac and boom it works. Much better than just the 2 USB Mac mini provides. Now I have my logitech 1080p camera in it, my two thunderbolt to usb keyboard and mouse chargers, and 1 extra whenever I want to use an external USB to transport files.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems that no matter what kind of computer you buy, there are never enough USB ports for everything we attach to our computers. This hub works great as an extension of one of my rear 3.0 ports, and I can even chain another hub off this one with very little power loss to save even more. It uses up a extra power outlet, but then I chain usb-powered hubs off this and it works out great for me. Definitely will buy another to use with one of my other USB ports.

Works great on my Desktop PC

I only have two 3.0 ports on my Dell Desktop. I just pulled it in to the working 3.0 USB port and now I have 4 additional ports. Very pleased with my purchase.

Does not overheat. Works well - response time is excellent. This solved my problem of having to limit my use of keyboard, mouse, phone charger, etc. I wish i had boughten this sooner. Good value for price.

I wanted at least 3.0 so I can take advantage of my high bandwith usb port. I am very satisfied with my purchase of this item. Make sure you use the power brick. it will run on only USB but it will chug when all of them are in use.
