Do you need additional USB 3.0 ports to charge and connect to your desktop? Added adapter is a plus for this simple unit. Small, unobtrusive. Does the job!

As expected, this product delivered the performance to expand the availability of USB ports

I plugged it in and got 4 easy access USB 3 ports on my desk, no more digging around behind the computer. Works great.

I was leery of buying this after reading the reviews. I have not had it long enough for a full complete test but I have not had one problem that some of the negative reviews stated. I have used it with a 3.0 external drive, multiple 3.0 thumb drives, and iphones and have had no problems at all. I also like that the external power can be used if you want to power devises without the computer being on, but you don't have to use it with the external power if you don't want.

This is a really nice USB 3.0 hub. It works great and now I can have faster toys attach to my laptop.

This is another great Insignia product at a great price. It was easy to connect with fast uploads and downloads.

I puchased this 4 port USB 3.0 hub as an extension of the AIO computer just puchased. The USB ports on the computer were in the back, so it was difficult to access. I attached this port up front with a stick-on to the table. It worked perfectly! The provided power adaptor allows charging, but I find it's not necessary for data transfer. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The only issue I had, may not be an issue with this device at all. Never really figured out what was going on, but I had 4 external hard drives (G-Technology) plugged into it and two of the drives were scary noisy. Sounded like they might get damaged to me. I plugged one of them straight into the computer instead of connecting through this hub and they got much quieter. I am still running three hard drives through this hub with no problem.

Great size, works perfect for PCs that have all the ports in the back of the screen.

Like most current laptops my two year old model only has a single USB port. With all the stuff you might plug in like an external DVD, additional hard disc storage, or external keyboard additional USB ports are a must. Non powered hubs created energy flow problems so picked this up. No more delays in the functioning of these external devices. Well worth it.

I got it because my Xbox one s ports were all used up, and I needed One extra port my external hardrive I decided to go with this one instead of the ones with no power supply bc I assumed it was gonna be better, but now that I have everything set up even if the extra power source makes no difference in performance, I'm glad I picked this one the cable is much longer than the other ones and I have it semeasly blend in with my set up

Easy setup. Works well on my MacBook Pro. Will be purchasing for my pc computer.
