I use this to connect a number of peripheral devices to my son's WII U, including an external hard drive that requires a USB power source. It has worked well for two years, at this point, and that's even after being dropped numerous times by my children. So I've definitely gotten more than my money's worth out of it.

Needed to add additional USB ports to laptop, does the job and provides better power ability.

This 4-port USB hub is ideal for me to connect multiple peripherals to my new PC (which only has one USB port.) It works seamlessly without issue and transformed the cumbersome effort of plugging and unplugging devices I need to get work done.

This is my first USB 3.0 Hub. Very easy to use and works great.

I get full drive speeds from my 4TB External drive when it is the only device connected. I can connect up a flash drive or 2.5 external drive at the same time and it still works ok. After that, it's hit or miss if it will recognize any additional devices. I would expect a little better, especially since it has the external power adapter.

My Lenovo 15 Edge only came with one USB 3.0 port (it has two USB 2.0 ports, both occupied). I picked this up to add USB 3.0 capacity and it does just that. I have two external pocket drives that run on it and an hdmi adapter for a second external monitor. All play well together without the computer freezing.

Bought this to connect a boom mic to my iPad Pro. I could never get any other USB mic to work (with a dongle, in case you were wondering), so I decided to try a powered hub, and it works like a charm. Now I can use my best mic with all of my Apple products.

Works as it should. I have a USB 3.0 to HDMI monitor adapter plugged into it (with other devices as well) and no issues. I purchased a cheaper USB 3.0 powered hub on ebay and it sucked.

I use this as a hub for several external disks attached to a home lab running Windows Server 2019 and several Windows 10 laptops. This was recognized on both operating systems and has worked flawelessly passing terabytes of data with multiple external drives attached.

The hub does its job well, but *usually* only if you have the AC adapter plugged in. The blue light comes on without the AC adapter attached, but *usually* no devices work (mouse, keyboard, flash drive, etc.). BUT, sometimes they do. Weird. It would be nice if it worked all the time for low wattage devices without the AC adapter, like when only using a mouse and keyboard for a laptop.

Why would anyone pay $20 for a device that you can get free at a trade show? First, trade shows don't happen anymore, but more than that, this powered USB 3.0 Hub will make sure that your devices function as they should and at the speed they need to.

Compact, works great and the price was right. Would buy again.

The port is compact, easy to install and works well.

I purchased this product to work with my surface pro 3. Since the SP3 only has a single usb port (not including the charge port on the power brick) I needed additional usb ports. This product works great powered and unpowered. For daily tasks like connecting usb memory card readers, to charging additional usb devices, it does the job well.

This is a very good USB 3 hub. It's slim and self powered.

I’m really impressed with the Insignia computer accessories as they make very affordable products that work Great! Get the 3.0 Blue tip USB as it’s faster and more powerful than the 2.0 White tip USB making sure that your computer or laptop has that USB

Works great and is portable. It’s very light weight and has ample USB ports. I wish the power cord was longer for when I use it in my office, however, it will power up through your computer when not plugged into the wall.

I upgraded to a new computer and now wish I'd paid the difference for one that had more ports. I wanted the best they had as in the past I haven't had good experience. This one is better than the others, but still doesn't always 'see' my backup drives I attach and I have to re-arrange the ports, plus and unplug.
