This works very well to extend a single USB port into 4 USB ports, attached by a cable to the USB port on the computer, This can put the USB connections in a place that is easier to reach, instead of reaching to the side or back of the original computer to make those connections.

It is tiny and a convenient way to bring USB ports from the back of the computer to the front. It includes an USB cable and power supply. It works fine with the flash drives I have tried with it.

Some devices need more power than the USB controller hub built into the computer can provide...like external hard drives. This device is perfect for those situations when you have issues with your USB device having errors. Add a bit more power.

Excellent Insignia 4-port hub. My new computer has limited usb ports and they are on the back of the computer. Hard to reach without turning the computer around, this hub works great. Now I have extra usb ports.

Insignia keeps surprising me. No joke I use this everyday and haven’t seen any issues at all.

Excellent product. Purchased as alternative to more expensive brand. Worked as soon as I connected to computer. Did not have any problem with this hub. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to save money. I will look at more of the Insignia brand in the future.

I have learned that it is better to have a powered hub for peripherals and this one does the job nicely. It is the Best Buy 'house brand' and is of good quality and supports USB 3.0.

Purchased this for my wife. Her computer only had two USB ports, but she needs 3 (uses 4 now) for her peripherals. She loves it and it works perfect for what she needs. No issues splitting off of one USB port.

Does what it’s supposed to. Got it for my laptop to use for VR and flight sticks. As a note if you plug a flight stick in to this you may get ghost signals in games. I had to rearrange my usb devices to plug my flight stick directly into its own ports. Mice, headphones, etc should be fine to plug into hubs.

This is the second one of these units I purchased. They seem well built, have their own external power supply and I typically get transfer speeds of 95 to 105 MB/s with a WD passport USB 3 drive. Not the cheapest unit around but a solid performer.

I use this very frequently. I keep it positioned on top of my desktop computer for quick and easy access. I have not had any problems at all with it. It is very easy to use and it was also very reasonably priced.

I recommend purchasing this unit if you need more USB hubs than your computer provides. I have a webcam, external hard drive, SD card reader, and the wireless adapter for my mouse all running perfectly off of this hub.

I have now bought three of these. I have used them to add ports to a desktop, a vero 4k plus media player, and a roku media player. I have connected 4 TB, 6 TB, and 8 TB hard drives with no issue.

Plug in the power, then plug in everything else, and it works just the way it's supposed to. Just hate the fact that I need one to plug in the 2 million cables necessary to get everything attached to my work laptop even after using the dock that came with it, but that's not the fault of this item .

I bought this to use on a Nintendo switch for adding wired controllers. It works well and it is cheaper than the Nintendo branded one.

The met our needs with the new computer we purchased. It is a value addition to computers these days. Insignia products have worked it the past and seem reliable and within costs parameters too.

Great hub for the price. Lucky to have found it in stock even though online said it sold out. Always check the store for inventory you might get surprised.
