Things like this aren't sexy, but useful. That said, it's very useful. It's USB 3.0, so, assuming I've got USB 3.0 devices (which I do) and USB 3.0 capability on my laptop (which I also have) i can transfer data quickly between flashdrive, ssd and hard drive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the lack of one or two USB ports on top.

This is a must for most all in one or lap tops and I even used one for my old desk top so I did hot have to keep going under the desk to plug in a USB device. I have one each for my laptop and all in one and so far they work great no loss of speed or at least none noticed.

Works as advertised. Price is good and like the small size.

This hub is great for use with an iPad or tablet which are not strong enough to power external SSD storage units but with this hub it powers the external storage and also gives me extra USB ports love it!

I purchased this to replace another USB 3 hub I was having issues with. It suits my purposes perfectly. Just the right number of ports and I didn't even need to connect the AC adapter for my uses. I just disconnected my old hub and connected the new one.

So far, so good. Data transfers are fast using this hub as a passthrough for USB 3.0 devices into a USB 3.0 port. The Insignia 4-port USB 3.0 Hub is a light weight device that will probably move around for most users with the slightest touch of attached cords; however, this is easily resolved by a piece of double-side tape (or duct tape - even better) and it doesn't move anymore. One item to keep in mind, perhaps it is a feature (?) is that when I shutdown my PC, the hub stays on as it has an AC adapter and thus, all of the drives remain "on." I've unplugged the short cable and of course, all drives go off. My other usb hub doesn't do this. Good or bad, it's just an odd quirk. Besides that, this is a good device.

Works well. I can connect xbox series x controller and arctis headphones no problem to my alienware m15 r4 laptop. Def would recommend.

Small and just what I needed. Even though my Del 3880 has 8 ports I needed more ports that I could connect on the front of the computer. I is just whaat I needed and it is fast and convenient.

The hub is a true USB C device. It has worked excellently since I first Plugged it in. I'm running a hard drive, a Blue. Ray DVD drive, a Lightning cable, and a micro USB cable. All work great even at the same time. I recommend this hub for USB C users.

Great for adding extra usb ports, In today's environment you can never have enough usb ports. This gem allows you to add 3 more ports, yes you loose 1 when you plug it into your machine, without hassle.

This Hub allows me to access my USB ports. I just purchased an HP All In One computer but all the USB ports are located in the back of the screen. Not very accessible but with the hub they are now were I can get to them with ease.

I bought this Hub based on previous positive reviews. My Chromebook only has on USB, so I purchase this so that I could use my wireless mouse and my USB drive. I love it and it works great. No complaints.

This device works great, unlike the Belkin unit I had to return. My one complaint with it, however, is that the power cord is too short. If you plug it in to a power strip on the floor beneath your desk, the cord is just long enough to rest the unit on the back on the back of your desk. Other than that, it seems to work great.

Great USB hub for the price, use it at work on a reports computer and works great with no issues.

This post is very useful. It works like it is supposed to. If you have multiple things to plug in, this is the port to use. The only thing I dont like is that the external drive off the PS4 will not work if you plug it into this port.

I have bought so many of these. They are relatively inexpensive (compared to other brands) and they just work. I have upgraded almost all my USB hubs to these (at least on every computer I have with a USB 3 port).

Quickly ran out of my USB ports on my laptop, but found this portable hub that I could throw in my backpack with little effort and get the additional ports I need. It's not powered if that is a necessity for you, but it fulfills the needs when plugging in thumb drives, or mice.

Works great. Not a single problem and I use it every day for work. I have even used all the ports at the same time without any issues. This is used with both PC and Mac. I can charge my iPhone and I pod all while using the other ports for data. All works.

These extenders are difficult to find. Do your research to make sure you don't overpay. The costs vary a lot. Best Buy has good deals
