Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub's ease of use, the number of USB ports it provides, and its compact size. Many appreciate its performance and compatibility with various devices, along with its reasonable price. However, some customers wish the cord was longer and mention occasional connection issues. A few also noted that the lightweight design can make it prone to tipping over.

Compact and lightweight
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This USB hub is a nice addition to my laptop for traveling. I also use it on my desk, as my all-in-one PC only has 2 USB ports and they are at the rear of the screen. This device makes it super easy to be able to easily plug in phone chargers etc., without contorting myself to reach and fish behind the monitor. When I use it for this function, I would have preferred a heavier weight. So far it's been a little workhorse.

Affordable USB 3.0 Hub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good USB 3.0 hub for my purposes of my home office. A bit disappointed in the length of the computer-to-hub cord provided with the hub however. Insignia has assumed you will place it LESS than 3 feet (accounting for cable curves out of the computer and into the hub -- effectively only 2 feet) to your computer. In my office layout (desktop), given bend radius, through a cabinet hole for wires, easily accessible to 3.0 devices, etc., I required 5 feet minimum, so I had to go to Amazon for a longer cable.

NEAT GEM!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed access to a couple of extra ports. My computer had 2 that were facing up, and were a problem to access. This GEM and a couple of picture sticky strips lets me put it any where I wanted. You can stick it on the side of the computer! Plus, It is powered!

A time saver
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and use. Was tired of having to reach around to the back of my desk top every time I needed to plug in a flash drive. Can now keep multiple drives plugged in as I need them and reduced the swapping out of drives.

Add Ports tp PS5
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just what I needed for our PS5. One rear USB port is used by an external drive while the other port connects to this hub for PSVR, PS camera, and two ports to spare. Went with this powered hub to avoid any potential power issues for what’s connected. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could have gone the way of purchasing a pcie usb card for my pc, but I needed something now and cheap. So I went with this option. It works out great since it uses its own power supply. Also Im able to velcro this under my desk to get closer to my peripherals. Its quite small so it fits nice and tight under my desk.

Easy to connect and use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This four port USB hub is easy to connect and use. I needed a reasonably priced port multiplier. This one fills the bill. Since it plugs into my power source, it also charges my devices while they are connected. It is perfect for my needs. Since I have only been using it for a few weeks, I cannot comment on its durability yet.

USB Hub
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not much to say. The more USB in front of you the better. With this you don't have to look for a USB on the back of your disk top. The power let you charge other things when computer is off.

Good performing USB power hub at the right price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s small and does perform very well. It’s placed on top of a large desktop PC that sits on the floor. I use it a lot, probably the best powered hub I have used. My only gripe is the power cord is short meaning you may have to compromise that convenient spot on top of your desk because the power cord may not reach a UPS or power socket. Overall glad I bought it.

Powered USB hub at the right price - love this!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a powered USB hub - chances are, if you need a USB hub you will want a powered one to prevent issues. This one is the ticket. I used it for connecting a USB streaming camera and desktop microphone to my work MacBook Pro (which only has a single USB). It worked great!

Insignia 4 port USB 3.0 Hub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this because my Surface Pro only has 1 USB port (which I normally use for my wireless mouse.) I have need to write to flash drives on occasion so I needed more USB ports. Works great and I'd highly recommend as a reasonably priced solution.

Great for the money
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plug and play there is not much more to say when connecting to a pc. It was able to power other things my pc didn't have enough usb ports for. I even ended up getting a 7 plug and plugging into this which actually works very well. Couldn't complain about this for the price!

Many different functions for this product!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first bought this in hopes to use it as a USB port hub on a road trip. I didn't realize that it needed to be plugged into a power source to use the USB 3.0 capabilities only. I thought you could only use it if you had the power cord plugged in. To my surprise, it worked to charge our devices, just not fast charging. After my trip, I ended up using it for its intended purpose, which is to be able to connect and use multiple ports, which came in handy when I had to move stuff off my computer and onto thumb drives. I already use two of my laptop USB ports for a cooling fan and a wireless mouse, so it was very convenient to have this to ease the amount of transfers I had to do and do multiple all at the same time. I definitely got more use of it than I first intended.

Extra USB Ports!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't have enough USB ports on my laptop so I tried this. I plugged in 2 external drives and 1 printer into the HUB. I then plugged the HUB into my laptop. It could not be any easier! I've been using it for 4 months and still works great!

Works Great With External Drives And Backups
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Mac suddenly stopped recognizing the external drive I used for back-ups. I decided to look for a USB hub and stumbled onto this one. Once I plugged the Insignia - 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub into the Mac and the hard-drive into the Hub I was back in business with Time Machine. Very pleased with my purchase. Great Hub and a great price.

No frills, affordable solution.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up to solve the problem of constantly having to swap out cables and usb drives on my iMac. It's not as pretty as the silver metal model offered by Belkin, but it also costs half as much. Since ultimately the thing is going to be sitting behind my computer, permanently plugged into my two external drives, a printer and a UPS backup, I didn't really care what it looked like as long as it works. That's not to say it's ugly, it's just a black block of plastic about the size of a deck of cards, with a bright blue LED light on the top when it's plugged into a power source. And that sucker is BRIGHT! it could have served as a nightlight, frankly. I ended up sticking some electrical tape over it since my computer is in my guest room and I was worried about keeping my guests up all night with the glare. All in all, solid purchase.

Good product at an affordable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed more ports to charge my quadcopters and this item did the trick. It was no problem to install. I plugged it directly into my computer and put my older 2.0 hub downstream of my new hub. This way my external drives got the advantage of the higher speed of the 3.0 hub.

good tool to have in my computer arsenal
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With so many usb accessories obtaining their power through their usb connection, it's becoming essential to have a powered hub in many cases to alleviate the stress on the host computer providing enough power to the accessory, esp with battery powered laptops.
