It generally works well, but sometimes items like 3rd party gaming controllers force me to change the port on the device, which can also be a commonly known issue with USB ports and computers, sometimes maybe even Windows overall. I love the convenience of sitting this product on my desk, so I do not have to reach down to the bottom of the computer on the floor cart, which is why I got this. I recommend always plugging these devices into the back of the computer which is direct to the motherboard. Do not install on the USB ports on the top or the front of the computer for best recommended use. I like the fact this requires power. That is best so you do not have any withdrawal issues.

I was Leary of buying this hub at first. I thought, what the heck and went ahead and purchased anyway. The price is what I had looked at first. It was somewhat cheaper than other 4 port hubs. I am glad the I purchased this one. Easy hookup and started working great right away.

I needed a device that would provide power to my Webcam because I had a long USB cable. We tried a 50Ft cable alone and it did not work. Once I got this switch and used the AC adaptor my problems finally went away.

This hub has been working fine being used for connecting mutliple hard drives to xbox one x. Speed seems fine. Only downside is having to unplug when not in use or one hard drive wants to stay on constantly.

I connected this to my laptop running Windows 7. I am running the external keyboard, external mouse, and even an Insignia dual monitor adapter through this. They are all working great. Easy to install. Plug and play!

This item comes with a power supply for devices that require more than the typical USB power that is supplied by the USB bus. It is USB3 so the connections are fast. Happy we bought this since the connections are faster than on the other hub we had.

For the money, this USB hub works great. Originally, I bought it to connect two external hard drives to an XBox One X and Series X. While it worked, it kept the drive on and active 100% of the time. Even connected to a PC, it keeps all devices on, so my USB keyboard and mouse would stay lit while the PC was completely off and even unplugged. It doesn’t register the request for power from the device you’ve connected it to so i either use it Without the power adapter or use it for devices where it’s not harming anything by keeping them powered. It does work great as a USB charger for phones and tablets though.

The world moved away from serial ports to USB-2, which was a good speed-up. Now USB-3 arrives -- it is even faster, and therefore much nicer to use. This hub is backwards-compatible with USB-2 devices, which is a good feature. It is well made and very speedy. A great buy!

This hub has worked great to expand the number of devices I can connect to my laptop, plus I can use it to charge my phone even when not using the computer since it's independently powered. The USB 3.0 is very fast.

This plug and play add on was just what I needed. I was using an old USB hub which slowed some of my attachments. This USB 3 hub does allow for visibly faster performance. Also, it is smaller and looks nicer!

What can you say about a Hub. It is compatible with my Alien or items I need to use. To date it has not failed me. I have bought Hubs that turned out to be garbage. It is a very functional, good product. Works well.

Great for adding more USB 3.0 power loads to a Raspberry PI, with this I could add two external micro hard drives with very fast troughput.

Purchased because my HP desktop tower has 4 USB ports on rear of tower. I have had no problems with this item. I secure it to the top of my tower with Velcro. A power supply was included. I have to use the power supply to run external hard drive. I wish there was an on/off switch on the power supply.

This is a USB hub. My favorite thing about it is that I can plug USB devices in it and they work. It's not really a hub in the truest sense, as that implies that the ports are evenly spaced out, as in hub and spoke. However this layout has no significant impact on it's performance.

I purchased this to upgrade from a 2.0 to a 3.0 and it has everything that I wanted and needed. My downloads are so much faster and that is great. Easy to plug and play and I can hook several things to it at once. A heck of a lot better than my old one.

I finally decided to upgrade my hub from 2.0 to 3.0. The speed difference is huge. This has a small profile and is lightweight -- I added velcro tape underneath to keep it in position under my monitor. Excellent replacement for a reasonable price.

Excellent choice works well and doesn't need a power supply. Works from being plugged into one of my 3.0 usb ports on front of my ps4.

I wanted more USB 3.0 ports for my computer and went through 2 very expensive brand name USB hubs. Yes, the other ones were more prettier but this one performs like it should with no errors. Definitely a good purchase, Probably going to buy another one.

4 port? If I had my way I would buy a 50 port hub seeing how everything now charges via usb. This little bugger is cute, a pretty blue, and has done a heck (can I say heck?) of a job keeping my gaming toys charged and readily available.
