I bought it due to the fact that I needed more usb ports for my pc. My only issue was that the price in the store was incorrect and I didn't know until I checked out and was charged double what the tag in the store said. Lesson learned to no always trust the price displayed.

Indispensable for a Laptop

The previous USB 2.0 hub did not have the power to charge an iPod and would not recognize an external HDD. The Insignia 4 port hub meets all of these requirements. It was easy to install and takes up little desk space.
