For the price, this is a no brainer to have if you're working from home. I have a work laptop and personal laptop. The work laptop is hooked up to a docking station since I spend the majority of my time on that. My three monitors and webcam are hooked up through the docking station via displayport connections. For my personal laptop I have my speakers and headphones connected, and an HDMI cable for the left monitor (I'm not a gamer or anything and I spend almost all hours of the day on my work laptop so I really only need one monitor for personal use). My wireless mouse and keyboard are connected to the USB hub, and I can switch back and forth between the laptops with the press of a button. The nice thing about the monitor setup is that I can choose to use all three monitors on my work laptop when I'm really busy and need all three, or set the left monitor to show my personal laptop and work on the middle and right monitors at the same time when I'm less busy and only need two screens for work. It's nice because I can have music going in the background, or have youtube/twitter/facebook feeds open on the left while I'm working but not as busy, and just switch back and forth between laptops. Makes things so much more convenient and I don't have to whip out my phone and risk getting too distracted as tends to happen. Really really like this thing, seems like good quality for the price. No latency/lag issues on either computer, and worked right out of the box. It did not come with a power supply cable but so far I haven't needed one. Also it was actually cheaper than a bunch of other ones on Amazon that seemed to have bad reveiws, and it's through Best Buy so I know I'll have customer support if it bites the dust early on. I would recommend this for anyone working from home or even just running multiple setups.

I need to expand the USB ports on my laptop to connect more devices. Relatively in expensive and works great

I got this to use between my work computer (Macbook Pro) and my gaming desktop PC. I am sharing a USB Dac, Blue Yeti and a wireless Jabra Headset between the two devices. This device works like a charm and enables me to switch connectivity at a click off a button. I have also used a USB-C cable to power the device since my Blue Yeti is known to pull more power than the USB-port can supply. Highly recommended!

i have usb 2.0 and 3.0 on my desktop ,, but when you are transferring loads of data ,, like a few hundred photo from the camera ,, guess which is better .. . this being a two pc connect is different and cheep ,, i got this to use up reward cert before it expires .. i can always use these for all my pc and laptops .. .this comes with 2 usb cable too .. which make this a best buy ..

This kvm is amazing, can connect two laptops to it and browse both of them with a press of button wow! No need of additional mouse and keyboard. One key board and mouse to switch between two laptops. Amazing buy will recommend

I bought this so I can use my keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam between my home PC and work laptop. It works perfect and I haven't had any issues whatsoever.

There is a USB C input on the host side, for powering the hub, but I haven't seen the need to use it. I've been using this to power three QMK keyboards, and a mouse. There is a slight delay when switching between hosts, roughly 5 to 10 seconds between, but it is not a dealbreaker. No issues with this so far with my one month of usage.

This product is perfect from what I need. Since I have two laptops, one for work and the other one as personal use. I also have two monitors and two sets of keyboard and mouse. I am now able to get rid of the other mouse/keyboard now which simplify my setup and less clutter on my desk.

It works very well - I had another one before from another brand giving me Unknown USB device errors, but this one from Insignia is perfect and don't have any more issues.

Very handy device, does exactly what it says it does. Very fast switch between two connected computers, and it's simple to set up and get going. Only issue is that it has an (optional) power supply in and doesn't come with a cable for that power. Not necessary if both computers it's plugged into will always be on, or on at the same time. But if you want to only use one of the two computers occasionally, you'll have to buy a power cable, which can be pretty expensive depending on how long you need it to be.

Simple, clean looking, and works great. I like the size and I like the fact that I can attach two devices to it, though I probably wont use that feature very often. The price point was great too!

I use this to switch between my work laptop and personal PC. It was exactly what I was looking for and works so well. There is sometimes a 5 second lag at most when switching but I feel that doesn’t take away from this. If you want to have one mouse, keyboard and 2 other usb’s connected to 2 laptops/pcs this is it.
