great picture,more than enough connections,good sound,got it at a wonderful price

To turn on the TV, you have to point the remote directly at it and press the power button twice, even with fresh batteries, otherwise it won't budge. Also, it takes 15 seconds (timed it!) for the TV to come out of standby mode. It feels like forever. Switching between HDMI sources sometimes hangs the TV and requires a hard reboot. Otherwise the TV works fine with my media PC for Netflix and web content, but in retrospect I would have gladly paid an extra $50 or even $100 not to have the nuisance.

Excellent picture quality (read the manual and learn how to adjust it to your taste), impressive size, great design, enough connections for all your gadgets, and good sound. Connect to a Dolby 5.1 surround sound home theater trough the digital output and you will feel the excitement of watching movies in the theater. Get the popcorn and enjoy! Thanks to Insignia and Best Buy for this great quality TV.

I hemmed and hawed over the decision to go with a more recognized brand, and to go with 120Hz or 60Hz, and ultimately decided to go with this Insignia. We love it. The ghosting problem hasn't been an issue, the resolution is great, the colors are accurate. It's a great TV for the money. I can't see any reason why I'd want to spend more.

I've had this TV for 2 years now. I've had no problems with this tv. I love the Insignia brand although I was skeptical at first. The picture is clear & great for gaming. I hooked up a 3D Wi-Fi Blu-Ray player to the tv & turned it into a smart tv. Great for watching Netflix or listening to music.

I bought 2 42" and 2 32". The video quality is average. Nothing to brag about. The sound is one of it's best feature. Here is a list of thing that could improve on *Tuner - this is for those who do not use digital box. The tuner does not automatic put you in a next tuned channel. For example, you input 12.121 and its not available the next available channel is 12.288 but the tuner does not auto tune to the next channel. Several other *Auto aspect, need better tuning or detection. *The on screen display text is way too small *It seem to get blur on fast moving image

LED TV offers all that it promises. Has 3 HDMI and 2 USB port. However only negative point is that USB point allows only photo viewing. If you want to listen to songs from jump drive through TV, this TV does not let you do this while most others do.

I HAVE HAD THIS TV FOR JUST 2 DAYS. MY SON SET IT UP. IT WAS EASY. THE PICTURE IS EXCELLENT! SOUND IS VERY GOOD. THE PRICE WAS UNBELIEVABLE. $299, DELIVERED TO MY HOME. CAN"T FIND IT ANY LOWER THAN THAT. ALTOGETHER AWESOME! I AM ONE VERY HAPPY LADY.

Bought this tv for the 249 price tag and it exceeds the price. I returned my terrible Westinghouse that was just on sale for 199,and for 50 dollars more not only am I getting better sound quality but a bigger tv and picture.Its a true to size 42 inch and performs excellent

I have had this TV since 2015 haven’t had issues with it.

I keep trying to find something wrong with this TV so I can take it back but there is nothing wrong with it the picture is perfect. I would put it up against any high price TV in the 42 inch class. 319.00 dollars and performs better than 90 percent of the TV's on the market. Very impressed.

Just bought this for my bedroom has great sound and a great picture and for its price I'm very happy I would recommend this to a friend. I'm a gamer and had to finally cross over to the new age and get a tv with HDMI for a ps4. This tv is perfect.

Got this tv a couple days ago works well but I game and this tv is not great for gaming good for wztching tv and movies but not gret. Pretty good value for what I spent but started losing sound while playing games it cuts in and out sometimes. If you buy it is at your own risk I am returning to store. Hopefully yours is better than mine.

The picture quality is really good for their price and I like the MHL capabilities. I highly recommend this product due to the imagine quality and size.

This TV is every bit of a 3 star. Its cheap. It screams cheapness. Still images display fine but movement results in a sandy grainy look. You'll be happier if you spend just a tad more on a better one.

I bought this TV for a business and it was the perfect choice. It was a great price and it has a great picture.

My roommate got this tv for our living room and it completes the room. It looks good and works very well.

I had one small dead pixel after about two months of using this television. It wasn't that bad, in the lower right corner of the screen, barely noticeable. Could've lived with that. Now I have a cluster of dead pixels on the upper-right half. None of the methods for fixing it work and Insignia's policies state that this is not an acceptable case for defect. I will never purchase an Insignia product again.
