Handy adapter for HDMI

I kept it anyway because I might need it in the future to plug in another HDMI cord into my laptop. I do have an external storage that is HDMI so I can use this adapter for that when needed.

I don't know what's going to happen in the long run.

Glad to hear that you had no problems with the JCA153G. Sometimes there is confusion with getting this adapter to work. This adapter requires that the USB-C port that it is plugged into have a feature called display port alternate mode. Not all USB-C ports have this feature.

I use it to stream CBS shows to my bedroom TV because it doesn't have Screen Mirroring like my living room TV. I have an antenna and use Hulu to play the previous days tv shows on NBC, ABC and Fox. CBS isn't on Hulu so I stream from phone CBS app. Smart TV's have CBS All Access app The phone app allows you to see shows around 3 - 4 hrs after the original showing. Only downside is that it doesn't charge device and can drain the batter of phone but that's not the adapter's fault.
