Best buy was so understanding having to exchange the cords that didn't work and to find the one that did.

Posted .This adapter is not compatible with Chrome OS. This adapter requires specific drivers/software to function correctly, which is not compatible with your Chromebook. Drivers are located on the j5create web page for MacOS.
