Excellent 4k release! I have watched it quite a few times and then some more with friends. Classic movie brought into the 4k spotlight.

Little need be said about the many ways “Jaws” pioneered a whole genre, set new standards, and remains thoroughly enjoyable in its own right. And this 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray edition makes use of the best technology yet to capture what this movie has to offer, and bring it into our homes. From the opening scene, the images are so sharp and vibrant, they are more lifelike than ever. This 4K transfer reveals a rich palette of details and subtle nuances that I had never noticed on the DVD—which is the reason for the title I gave this review. From the sense-fueled beach party at night to the scenic views of Martha’s Vineyard by day to the showdown with the shark at sea—with these images, you are all but right in the middle of things. (Oh, and I meant Amity Island, of course.) The sound was already great on the DVD. Now that we have this 4K Blu-ray, the picture has pulled even with the sound. Add to that a generous lineup of bonus features, and you will find that this edition is the one of choice. PS: The Movies Anywhere code is nice to have, but the video is somewhat pixelated on my 27’’ monitor.

Excellent quality on the 4K disc over a standard Blu-ray edition. You will see, hear and feel a difference. Many times an older film like Jaws doesn't really look all that great in 4K. But not with this edition. They took much time and energy to make it have the look and sound of a new release. So, that's why you should get this one. Here's why you should pick up a steelbook copy of anything from Best Buy at curbside or in store: They ship steelbook editions in a bubble envelope. No cardboard slats on each side, no bubble pack. This won't be very cool if Grandpa's heavy Betamax is getting shipped right beside it, and lands on it. It could really be damaged easy with what they use to ship.

There is zero need for reviewing such an epic film. Fact: My family watches Jaws as an annual tradition while on vacation at the beach. You’re welcome.

Jaws in 4K was a Awesome restoration of its original film. The movie is that much clearer the close ups are true 4K material. The sound is good but not much going on for home theater. But it still makes the music sound great. If you love this movie like I do then yes it’s a must for 4K lovers.

Had been looking for this for a while, and it was out of stock for close to 2 years. I was lucky enough to see it back in stock and immediately picked it up. The 4K transfer is great and the steelbook is a collectors must.

Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster masterpiece has never looked better. Sublime 4k restoration! This is the definitive release of JAWS and a must own. The simple, clean SteelBook design is gorgeous as well.

Dude, the 4K disc of "Jaws" is like swimming with a great white shark in your living room, man. The picture quality is so sharp, it's like you're right there on Amity Island, feeling the fear and adrenaline pumping through your veins. And let me tell you, the sound design is killer, bro. The iconic theme music and heart-pounding shark attacks will have you on the edge of your seat, screaming for your life. So grab your popcorn, put on your floaties, and get ready for the ultimate summer blockbuster experience with "Jaws" in 4K. It's a toothy, thrilling adventure that'll make you think twice about going in the water, dude.

This 1.9 cubic feet microwave fits into almost the same space as 1.7 cubic feet units. It has quick start presets for 1 through 5 minutes but it also allows to adjust time down to the second and power level from 1 to 10. Presets include Popcorn, Beverage, Reheat and Defrost, the latter of which can be done by weight or time. This has Sensor cooking that determines the foods status by released moisture. I've used it on "Plate" in "Re-heat" and it's worked great. The price was much better than other Sensor microwaves with less features. All in all a great value.

My favorite movie! The 4K transfer is immaculate, and the audio is fantastic. This classic movie has never looked or sounded better. If you love this film, this disc is a must! Highly recommended.

Finally, the best format for this movie is this 4K transfer. It is a work of art. The colors, Dolby Vision, every frame, reworked from the original. In addition, the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is incredible. This is the definitive way to watch Jaws!

This Job movie is the best 4K ultra HD Blu-ray video ever made so far and I would recommend it to anyone and a heartbeat the scenes in this is fantastic and if you have a 4K video player and a 4K TV you would be amazed how good Jaws is in 4k

For its 45th anniversary, Universal brings Jaws to the UHD format with a practically impeccable 2160p/Dolby Vision UHD presentation. In the early minutes beyond the campfire scene the picture demonstrates superb command of its elements, the first of many notable scenes of practically reference quality. Grain is fine, accentuating the native filmic roots and bolstering the sense of cinematic texturing that sweeps through the shots with resplendent accuracy. Throughout, the picture proves to be very dynamic. There are many examples of notable, superb textures that stand apart at this resolution, notably period attire: light jackets, heavier sports coats, even a thin veil worn by a grieving mother. There's a tangible increase in sharpness and clarity across the board when comparing to the previously issued, and still perfectly workable, Blu-ray, but the UHD brings out the absolute best the original elements have to offer. Many of the weathered accents around the beaches and piers are tack-sharp and tactile and details both interior and exterior around town gain appreciable boosts to sharpness and clarity, even at distance, obvious in comparison but even plain to see when simply watching the UHD straight through. Skin textures and hairs are unsurprisingly some of the most obvious beneficiaries of the resolution increase and clarity gains. What a vivid, flowing, and fine film-like experience. The Dolby Vision color grading is just as big a victory for the picture as the resolution increase. The colorists have certainly not gone overboard by redefining the film's color temperature or fundamentally altering any component. On the contrary, this is a perfectly natural grading that amplifies where needed without drastically changing any scene's essential tonal parameters. Depth is certainly improved over the existing SDR Blu-ray, giving more balance and life to flesh tones, more stability to sand under harsh daytime sun, more resplendence to blue waters and skies, the latter two of which transform from looking fairly washed out on the previous format to much fuller and pleasing here (see a dialogue scene with the camera positioned slightly below the characters, aimed upwards to allow plenty of sky into the frame, at the 52:40 mark for a very good example of both color grading gains and textural finesse). And when the water becomes saturated with blood, the red depth and its contrast with the serene blue makes for a striking juxtaposition. Brighter whites gain stability and clarity, such as the Brody home or the police station exteriors, both featuring white paneling and fencing. White abounds around town and is certainly one of the most readily improved components, with the green shutters and accents another point for high praise. Look at some of the seaside silhouette shots early in the film, say the 4:25 mark on the UHD. The improvements to black level output, shadow detail, and the rising sun behind clouds gently enhance the mood and screen command, reinforcing the juxtaposition between the terrifying events unfolding in the water and the detached, relaxed scene on the beach. Further, the UHD handles challenging scenes with ease, such as a foggy nighttime boat trip in chapter 10 where light pierces through fog with no sign of troublesome artifacts. It's remarkably smooth and efficient and, combined with the wonderful black levels, fine grain, and improved clarity, makes for one of the more surprising reference moments in the movie. The print appears virtually free of unwanted blemish. The odd smudge or speckle does creep in but they're rare and barely visible, such as on the left-hand side of the screen at the 1:24:17 mark. There are no encode artifacts of note, either. This one's a keeper for sure and a must have for any UHD library.

I was really impressed with the 4k version. Big upgrade from the BluRay version I have. I was a bit skeptical that it would be much better if at all but I was pleasantly surprised.
