Works well with LG tv. sound and everything was great. the only issue is not being able to control via app and functionalities are limited. may be for a reason. I think the price is high for they provide.

This receiver is under-rated in both video upgrade quality as well as well under-rated in power specs. BELIEVE IT! And at about >10F above ambient room temps driven at >70% power, ill take 2!

I purchased this as "open box excellent". I received what I consider a new, in perfect condition receiver. I am very pleased with the performance and appearance of this receiver. Also, I like the savings over buying new.

When I first set up the JBL MA510 5.2ch AV Receiver in my home, I was eager to see if it could truly transform my living room into a cinema-like experience. Having spent a good amount of time testing this receiver, I can confidently say that it lives up to its hype, offering a remarkable blend of power, clarity, and ease of use that elevates both movies and music to a new level of enjoyment. One of the first things I noticed was how straightforward the setup process was, thanks to the well-written Owner’s Manual. JBL has done a fantastic job in making this receiver accessible even to those who aren’t AV experts. The MA510 features an intuitive on-screen setup that guides you through everything from connecting your speakers to configuring your network settings. I found the EZ Set EQ app particularly helpful, as it allowed me to optimize the sound based on my room’s acoustics, ensuring that I was getting the best possible audio performance right out of the box. The receiver’s integration with other devices is seamless, whether you’re connecting a smart TV, gaming console, or streaming device. With four HDMI inputs and one eARC output, I had no trouble hooking up all my gadgets. What really stood out to me was how well the MA510 handled different audio formats, including Dolby and DTS. The JBL - MA510 5.2ch. 8K AV Receiver is one of their new offerings in their new line of AVR receivers for home audio. This model is one above the entry model in the new lineup. Visually this AVR looks great if you are looking for a modern sleek type of aesthetic, this will also fit nicely if you dont have much space in that tight TV cabinet of yours. Specification wise the JBL - MA510 5.2 channels rated at 75W x 2ch @ 8ohms, 75W x 5ch @ 8ohms, 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms & has Dolby and DTS surround sound decoding. As far as audio only inputs you get1 x Coaxial digital audio, 1 x Optical digital audio, 1 x Analog audio. As far as HDMI, you get 4 HDMI 2.0 inouts and 1 HDMI 2.1 out. As far as setup goes all you'll have to do is download the JBL app and it will guide you through everything. I like that JBL has their EZ Set EQ that you can use for room equalization for optimized sound quality. I had to take off one start due to this model not supporting Dolby Atmos because this is used for my home theater setup. The JBL MA510 supports several digital streaming platforms and services including Spotify, Tidal and Connect. This model also supprots Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast and also works with SmartThings Hub, wi-fi and bluetooth. Inside the box you'll also get 1 x IR Remote, 2 x AAA Batteries1 x Bluetooth Antenna, 1 x Power Cord. The JBL MA510 in my opinion is a great entry level AVR. It has what you need for a complete home theatre setup and sounds equally great for the price point. If you don't plan on adding more speaker to your setup and prefer a modern AVR thats easy to setup then this is perfect for you.
