Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the ease of use, wireless functionality, and the trackball itself of the Expert Wireless Trackball Ambidextrous Mouse. Many appreciate the customizable buttons and the precise navigation the trackball allows. However, some users found the mouse too large for their hands or had difficulty with the accompanying software. The large size was a recurring negative comment.

I love the ease and feel of the trackball. It is a little big for my small hand but I would not change it out. I use is all day long and my hand and wrist feel so much better. The ring does make a rough scratching noise. It does not bother me. I would recommend

Very Intuitive use, honestly perplexed at ever using a regular mouse. The form factor allows you to save wrist & hand motion which is a relief during long editing sessions. Takes some getting used to if you're used to traditional computing but well worth the small learning curve. If you're working in a DAW or editing visual items i highly recommend this, your wrist will thank you.

Great Size and Ergo, poor mac experience

The mouse itself is pretty amazing. Are use it every day and even switch hands for work. The oversized track ball makes it even more desirable over other trackball mouse that I have used. there is a serious problem on an M1 Mac, however. It seems that every day, my cursor will stop moving. Bluetooth will still be connected because I can use the rotating ring, and my clicks will be responsive. it’s incredibly disruptive during work, and based on some Internet searching it seems that a lot of other people also see this problem.

HELLO Early 2K !! Retro Trackbackball with updates

Takes me back to 2000-2005. I used to use one of these to play old school PC games (Yuri's revenge, Gangland, C&C, etc), except they weren't old school then lol. So I recently started playing them again (15+ years later) and I was curious if anyone ever still made this mouse, and sure enough good old Kensington STILL does. I love it, sure its a bit retro, but it still seems way more usefull and effective then sliding the mouse all over the desktop and having to reposition it, if I have moved to far to the left, right, up or down... none of that is required with a trackball, it can infinitely scroll in any direction without the need to reposition it, to gain more movement in that or any other direction. If you havent tried one of these, and you like to game (maybe retro games), give this a shot! I love it, and so glad I found it was still being made!

I suffer from Trigger finger as well as trigger thumb where my fingers get locked in a bent position at night. A traditional rollerball you have to use your thumb. This allows you to use your fingers in a slight motion that is comfortable.

    won't work with kvm

I've used the expertmouse for decades. The software has always been questionable, but the hardware worked flawlessly. I needed a new one and found they only have a wireless one. I've used two different kvm's with my older, wired ones. The wireless one wouldn't work and their "support" was basically a shrug. I had to return it, and now I'm trying an Elecom. Software's also questionable, so far, but at least it worked right away with my kvm.

This is for you if you use both hands throughout the day, which I do to avoid repetitive stress. Lots of options for button configuration and the large trackball makes precise navigation easy. My only annoyance is the scroll ring which lightly grinds sometimes.

The Expert Mouse works great. Ordered a second one for my wife. Not as much customization as the previous model, but the wireless is great and the additional customized buttons are not missed.

The answer to my pain and frustration. I should have gotten this years ago! It feels like quality and moves with complete ease and accuracy. The included wrist rest adaptor is appreciated, and the four button control allows for custom presets to automate specific functions.

Bought this wireless trackball to replace a wired Expert Mouse trackball because the trackball cord became too short for my new location. Both trackballs perform beautifully.

In my work as an Air Traffic Controller, I was very familiar with using a slew ball. I have tried other brands but have found that the Kensington trackball is the easiest to use.

I have always liked to use a trackball mouse. This is my first with a scroll ring, which I really helpful. The bigger ball is so easy to use.
